Good Family Stay
Publié le 4 déc. 2024 sur HomeAwayMy family and I stayed in the home over Thanksgiving and appreciated the fenced yard for our fur babies and a well-stocked kitchen for preparing meals. The beds are comfy and great water pressure in the showers. Everything we needed for our family gathering! Recommend!

Needs Work
Publié le 4 oct. 2024 sur HomeAwayUnfortunately, our stay didn’t meet our expectations. The property looked much older in person than the photos online, and the living room furniture was different from what's shown in the listing. When we arrived for check-in, the house was still being cleaned, so we had to wait in our car for about 10 minutes until the cleaner finished.
We also found mold in the bathroom on both the shower curtain and tiles, as well as in one of the bedroom closets. The primary bathroom had additional issues—the grate in the shower was painted, causing it to bubble when running the water, and the toilet started running and nearly overflowed.
That being said, the house was generally clean, and the location was fine. The host was very responsive when we reached out about the mold and refunded our money after we decided to check out after just one night (we had originally booked for four nights). It’s a shame because it’s a cute house, but more attention to detail on these pressing issues is really needed.

I typically do not respond to these baseless extortive and hateful reviews , but I will today . As you will see Kira the furniture was upgraded and the pictures are recent and up to date . You called the chipped paint on the tile mold ( ignorant statement ) but I responded and sprung into action ( I sent professionals over to make sure and sent you the proof and here you are still saying the same false statements ) which confirms what I already knew. I offered you a full refund no questions asked ( I don’t want anyone in my house that cannot appreciate it ) As they say you cannot make everyone happy so congrats on being the 1%, i hope you find your joy and I am sorry you didn’t rent the pent house at the ritz for 100 dollars a night .

Quiet and Cozy!

Great for our needs

Amelia's Retreat

Cute Little House Right in Greensboro

It was an older home with very few updates, but it was adequate for what we needed for a long weekend. The host was responsive and check in was easy. If you are looking for a luxury stay, I would not recommend this property. If you are looking for a small, cozy place that feels like a little cottage with a nice, little yard/patio, then this is a place you would enjoy. :-)

Elon Graduation stay
Publié le 27 mai 2024 sur HomeAwayWe stayed here for 4 nights for my daughter’s graduation from Elon and to help her move into a new apartment. There were 5 of us, including my elderly parents. We enjoyed the clean and comfortable home and the outdoor space where we hung out and relaxed mostly for breakfast. Easy access to the highway- about 25-30 minutes to Elon. The host, Richard, was very responsive to any questions! We highly recommend this VRBO for your stays.

Greensboro trip
Publié le 20 mai 2024 sur HomeAwayAfter realizing we would need a place to stay longer than 1-2 days, and also needing a pet friendly location, I was able to find Amelia’s Retreat. It was the perfect spot, the home is nice, we had plenty of room, and the backyard was perfect for our little dog. The location was great and conveniently located to shopping and a variety of restaurants. We would love to stay here again on our future trips to the area!
