Beautiful apartment in Historic downtown location close to everything !
A beautiful apartment home located in the heart of the premier Fisher park historic neighborhood, downtown Greensboro.
Surrounded by architectural masterpieces yet within walking distance to all major downtown attractions. Performing Arts Center, craft breweries, nightlife, and landmark restaurants all just steps away from your door. Great spot to relax in the city of Greensboro without worrying about driving or parking.
Aside from the cigarette holes in the linen (some dirty towels) , faint smell of smoke and marijuana and the lack of a change machine at the laundry room. my stay was fine the place was convenient to downtown locations and easy for me to get back and forth to work, Also the host was very helpful on certain things I requested for the trip which made for as close to a pleasant trip as possible. Very appreciative, will book with this host again in the future
We had a great stay at this apartment in Greensboro! The space was clean and comfortable. The host was responsive and made check-in super easy. Would definitely stay here again!
This place was a bit rundown but for the price, we were not disappointed. Itâs an upstairs apartment with a pretty rickety railing. It was clean except for the carpet. The double size bed was like an old fashioned featherbed, soft which I liked. Scott, the owner, was nice and texted right back when we needed something. It was a great location for our time at the NCFolkFest and other downtown wanderings. (Loved Greensboroâs Historical Museum, a must go see!)
The host, Scott, was extremely helpful with making sure our check-in process was a smooth as possible. He maintained steady communication when needed and made sure that the property was to our standards when we arrived. Highly recommend!
Great location, very mediocre apartment experience
This apartment is in a great location. We were able to mostly avoid ride shares and walk to most places downtown.
We stayed 3 nights. Kitchen, living room & bedroom were clean & tidy. Bathroom surfaces appeared clean but there was an unpleasant smell and the bathroom door would not close.
The wall AC unit had not been cleaned for some time and about 1/3 of the air intake was obstructed by scented dryer sheets (used to attempt to mask bathroom odor?). I cleaned it up and the AC worked much better. However, the AC really only serves the bedroom, so anyone sleeping on the pullout wasn't as comfortable as those in the bedroom.
Our first evening we used the shower and discovered the drain was VERY SLOW. Water immediately started pooling around my ankles and took more than 15 minutes to drain after each shower. I contacted the manager via the app messaging, and he assured me that it would be taken care of. The next morning we discovered the bathroom sink was also slow; shaving left a total mess, so we resorted to shaving at the kitchen sink.
The maintenance guy didn't show up on day 2, so we didn't have a clear shower drain until day 3. Maintenance was so slow acting that we didn't even bother reporting the slow sink until after we checked out, more as a courtesy for the next tenants.
We made reservations (informed there'd be three of us) and were told there was complimentary water & soda in the fridge. 2 Sprite & 2 water. So while they indicate occupancy of 1 to 4, they really only expect 2.
Hopefully management responds to this review and ensures that such maintenance failings don't recur. It really is a decent apartment in a pleasant area of town. With a little more attention to detail we could have been presented with a great experience.
Great location, perfect for my needs, comfortable. Will stay again..ble.
I'd have liked for the property manager to have a voicemail box but he did return my calls promptly. The confusion about which unit I had rented was cleared up quickly. The air conditioner off/on is too high to reach. There are minor quibbles.
The location is described in the listing as close to âbeautiful downtownâ however itâs an extremely loud area- sirens all night (every night), heavy traffic, very loud neighbors. Property was obviously worn down and not clean. Shower head is halfway out of the wall and rusted out, mold in the shower, heavy dust everywhere, bathroom overall was repulsive.
The location and price of this apartment are great for downtown Greensboro. Itâs within walking distance to everything. Communication with the owner was also very good. He was quick to respond to all calls and messages.
Apartment was in a good location. Walking distance of downtown. Sidewalks are wide streets are well lit. We were in town to see Wicked so it suited our need. Couple of things we did not like. When we arrived it was 80 degrees in the unit. Air conditioner had been turned off. There is only 1 wall air unit in apartment located in the bedroom. Took several hours for the living area to cool down. Description also said washer and dryer. We assumed this was in the apartment. They were in a building at the apartment next door. Also pay machines 2.00 per load to wash and 2.00 per load to dry. Just felt this should of been stated in the property description Doesn't mean we wouldn't of rented the unit but it would of been nice to know We still enjoyed our stay.
