Great house and location
We came to watch our son play basketball for HPU. Couldn’t have asked for a better location to go back and forth (even walked a few times). Close to many amenities for groceries etc. We were able to do a load of laundry and the keyless entry made it easy for everyone to come and go. Totally coming back next year!

Family trip to HPU
90-year old parents and our family attended my son’s White Coat Ceremony at HPU Dental School. The farmhouse is so incredibly charming, cozy and comfortable for all! Modern updates and attention to detail make it perfect. Proximity to campus and shops and stores on Main Street make it so convenient too. Owner is super nice and so accomodating.

Charming and comfortable!
My family stayed at The Farmhouse Retreat for freshman orientation weekend at HPU. The house was perfectly clean, the beds were comfortable, and the decor was beautiful. The house is updated but the original charm is still intact. The location is very convenient especially if you are in town visiting HPU. We didn’t cook but the kitchen seemed to be well stocked. Check in was seamless and the host’s communication was excellent. We will definitely stay here again.

We loved our time in High Point at this adorable, beautifully decorated home. The driveway is a little tricky to back out of only because of the traffic on the road but just take your time and you’ll be fine. We will definitely stay here again!

High Point was the half point for some old friends to meet up for the night. We had dinner out and then enjoyed a relaxing night catching up at the farmhouse. Host was super helpful and responsive with information about the area. Would recommend!

Charming Farmhouse
Four friends stayed here at the Farmhouse for a wedding weekend. The home was absolutely perfect for our needs. It was very clean, and the beds were extremely comfortable. The bedding was soft and cozy. The decorating was charming. I also loved how comfortable the dining room chairs were and I loved the dishes in the kitchen. The host was extremely responsive to any questions and check in and out were very easy. Bathrooms were clean and loved all the mirrors, which made getting ready for the wedding easy. Would definitely recommend to anyone staying in the area!

I would give this listing 5 stars as it was clean and had several nice updates, however we stayed in peak of summer and the upstairs was hot! The current system cannot handle the upstairs. Also the driveway is pretty beat up and the backyard really could use some TLC before you can let kids play in it. The location was good, just be careful backing out onto the busy street.

This was a fun location for a girl's weekend. we enjoyed walking around old salem and downtown Winston-Salem. we enjoyed walking to Da Bean coffee shop and driving through the cute neighborhoods. host was very accommodating. house was cutely decorated and comfortable. a few cobwebs and dust places but generally clean. thank you so much!
