Peaceful Updated 2-Bd on 1 Acre Next to State Park

The house is 1000 sq ft with a very large master bedroom that includes its own sitting area and work space. The house also includes a guest room that is perfect for kids, as it has two twin size beds. There is one bathroom with a bathtub & shower combo and the kitchen, dining, and living room is all one open area. The stainless-steel appliance kitchen is equipped with everything you need to cook your favorite meals while staying here.

The master bedroom can double as a quiet office or sitting room away from the main living area of the house for those who need to work from home. The house is right off North Church Street and has plenty of parking for 2 cars.

Haw River State Park, which is right next to the house, is a 1485-acre North Carolina State Park which has a 3.25-mile beautiful trail loop that goes through the park. You can walk to the entrance of the park from the house or make the 1-minute drive to the start of the trail. It is a great place for an afternoon or morning hike!

We were looking for privacy, comfort, accessibility, value, affordability, convenience, and quality in a small town, and this place unexpectedly exceeded EVERY unrealistic wish we threw at it. The friendly, communicative, and conversable host made our experience smooth and simple. I recommend this VRBO 100% for any individual, couple, or small family that may need a 2BR, 1BA, private rental in the beautiful foothills of northern North Carolina!

Although I didn’t stay there, the first call I received from my hubby when they arrived was how perfect the home was. He said that we have to stay there from now on when we visit our daughter. He said the surroundings were beautiful. A country setting that was peaceful and felt like the place we will have when we retire. He also said that the home was clean and had everything they would need. He definitely recommends staying here if you are looking for a nice get away from the city yet close enough that it is still convenient to everything. Also, I communicated with the host. He was very good at getting back to me immediately with answers. We would give this five stars!

Clean and well kept property a short drive from plenty to do!
The property was very clean and well kept, with a nice living room for relaxing evenings. The llamas were very friendly and a special treat to observe in addition to being next to the entrance road to the state park. Overall, very happy pleasant stay and I highly recommend this property if you’re looking to stay in the area!

Excellent place for a short or extended stay just outside Greensboro
The house is recently renovated, and the pictures are accurate: everything one needs and very little one doesn't. The location--just outside Greensboro, in a pleasant rural neighborhood--makes it ideal for anyone who has to be in or near the city for an extended period but doesn't want to be "in town." Quiet, private. Grocery store just a mile away and straight shot into the city via N. Church St. Immaculately clean, and great communication from the hosts. The state park next door isn't one of NC's better parks, but it does have a trail for an early morning or evening walk or run. I'll also mention a work desk in the master bedroom that made getting part-time work done so much easier than it would have otherwise been.

Property was as advertised. Excellent property! Very clean. Very convenient location. Nice quite neighborhood. The house was very well stocked we wanted for nothing. The bed was very comfortable. Internet was great, only 1.5 miles for a grocery store. I would highly recommend staying at this property. The Host was very easy to get in touch with, and extremely helpful. When my work brings me to this area again, this property will be my first choice of a safe place to stay. Thank you very much for the excellent accommodations. And the extremely good service during our stay. A definite must if you need a place to stay in this area !!!!

This is a great house. Perfect for my boyfriend and our two teens. The area is in the country but close to lots of things! Amazing Little Property
This is the perfect little house for a stay in Greensboro. Great area that is nice and quiet and in the countryside, but still close enough to be able to get anything you need or want to do in Greensboro. I will definitely be booking here again as I travel to this area several times a year. Perfect for a getaway with spouse.

Definitely cannot go wrong staying here. Bobby and Allison did a fantastic job with the place. You walk in and it instantly just felt like home. Was extremely clean and quiet. The property is far enough out that you dont have people right on top of you but close enough to everything that all food options are available. Needless to say, we will definitely be coming back to this property.
