Bear country cabin in the Poconos

Adorable stylish cabin in the Poconos. Our newly renovated cabin is equipped just a like modern house would, inside bathroom and shower, full kitchen, queen size memory foam bed, central air, wifi, TV, etc. We are located right by the Promised Land state park, 1 min away drive or about 5 walking, theres a lot of trails to hike, fishing, canoeing, kayaking, biking, swimming, theres a beach area and plenty of BBQ and sitting areas as well. We are also located only about 10 mins away from lake wallaenpaupack

Perfect location for hiking and relaxing
This was a great place to stay if you're looking to spend time at the state park or just relax and listen to the birds. Bed was comfy and the kitchen is just big enough to make meals. Owners are very responsive and kind! I'll stay here again.

Quiet, delightful cabin!
This was such a delightful place to stay in a very quiet community, we sure enjoyed our weekend stay while we attended a couples' weekend conference at Skytop! Everything is so new but we loved the retro look, the decorating was gorgeous, the heat was nice and toasty, and we enjoyed using the fire pit in the backyard so much! We also enjoyed the nearby community where we could go to sweet little diners and Mom and Pop restaurants. The hosts were very responsive to our communication and made sure our stay was wonderful! Thank you so much!

Lovely Spot Up in the Mountains
Jose maria's place is small but super cozy. Perfect for a romantic getaway. Also very close to Promised Land State Park, which is probably great for hiking. That's what we were planning to do, but it unfortunately rained the entire time we were there. :( Not Jose maria's fault though!

Winter Getaway
The location it's self was located in state park. Seems like a tranqui neighborhood. There is a 3-4 car parking lot. The property itself is on the second floor of a unit which I came to understand looking at other reviews but was not stated in the website. The studio itself was well equipped. There was a tv , full kitchen and a walk in shower. The one thing I noticed was the lack of insulation of the studio itself but heater was in good working condition. The studio is also located near a lake that would be interesting to go to during the summer months as there is a beach and sites for grilling. Overall, it was a great stay and would recommend it to anyone looking for a weekend getaway.

Cabin in the woods
This property was exactly what I was looking for to escape to the woods for a couple of days. It was not desolate, but it met all of my needs. the pictures are very accurate. It was quaint and well maintained. Everything is set up for two people and it has everything you need. The little balcony is a great addition. The owners were easy to communicate with and made the whole process an exceptional experience. I look forward to going back in the near future and I hope who ever reads this gives this place a try!

Promised Land rental unit
The property is walking distance from Promised Land state park day use area. The Inn is also walking distance for dining. There is a small store about 100 yards away that has coffee/tea and muffins/bagels for a quick breakfast. It was not clear to me that this was a second floor unit that was in a building shared with other renters so if you choose to use the firepit area you may need to share it with the other party. It was overall a nice unit. Clean. Nicely decorated and stocked with little extras like travel shampoo/soaps and a coffee maker, creamers and sugar.

At the Bear Country Cabin
The cabin was very cozy and well maintained. Not only did I want a base to explore the area, but also to take a couple days to stay in and relax. This cabin served both purposes very well. The seasonal decor was a very nice touch. Great place.

Promise Land Village
We enjoyed the apartment in the middle of Promise Land Village. I have wanted to go to PL State Park and we could not have been closer. The apartment was super clean, great decorations (autumn theme), comfortable beds, and great hosts who responded quickly to questions. My husband can no longer hike but we found plenty of things to do in the area. There's a super restaurant within walking distance, Promise Land Inn. We highly recommend this apartment for couples.
