Overall nice location on a campus and near train station/subway. Needs better management though. Room was not cleaned well and lacked basic things. 2bedroom apartment and had one single small bar of soap and 2 half-rolls of toilet paper. Single garbage bag and you are expected to take your own garbage out or you will be charged 30euros. When we took the garbage down, it involved multiple elevators and a very smelly garbage room in the basement. Additionally, the shower head was just laying at the base of the tub and it was literally impossible to hang it up. These are all pretty basic things and so I feel this place could be good but needs better management. It seems run by students and would be good for students visiting. We're a family of five and are used to better hotels. There may have been a language barrier but when we complained about lack of towels, soap, toilet paper and hair on the sheets, they simply brought us up some towels and the young woman delivering it just said she wasn't understanding me and left. Again, overall you get what you pay for. The price was very good and this would be a good place for students, not good for anyone over 30yo. :)

Our reception staff is fluent in English, so I'm a bit surprised by the language difficulties you mentioned. Could it be that you interacted with the housekeeping team instead?As for our location, we are situated in Grenoble's business district, not on a campus. We are just 3 minutes from the train station and 15 minutes from the Scientific Presqu'Île. Regarding the apartment, we provide essentials for the first day, but like any tourist residence, it's expected that guests manage their own supplies and maintain the apartment during their stay.Additionally, I’m puzzled by your mention of students running the reception. While we're flattered by the compliment, I assure you that our team members are all over 30 years old. This makes me wonder if your review was intended for Le Hub by Privilodges or if it might have been confused with another hotel from a previous stay?Best regards,

The hotel check-in/out only opens at a certain time. It closes after 9pm. My arrival was late and of course I wouldn't know about this for a hotel. When I asked the lady in the bar about checking in, she was rude, blaming me for coming late and asking me to wait. Finally, I figured that the key card was already left at the desk so I took and left. But I don't understand how one could run a hotel with such an attitude.

Dear Wei, Our opening hours are clearly written on every website possible and we called and sent an e-mail to every guest to give them the information so we are more than surprised about your comment. I am sorry if the person at the bar seems rude to you. As an information, if she was already occupied with another guest, it is normal to ask you to wait, human can not duplicate themselves. If you had an envelop with your name, you have received an mail to explain this late arrival procedure. I can understand that guest blame receptionnists if the work is not done but it was the case this time. We hope you'll find an hotel at the level of your expectations for your next stay in Grenoble,

Hub is a heavenly place for a modest hotel
Posted Feb. 9, 2024 on HotelsAbsolutely wonderful property with a living room bedroom toilet and bath shower over 4 rooms ! Excellent staff especially mellisa who gave me tea coffee has tea coffee machine in room plus fridge and cooker ! Grenoble is great and so is hub ! Thoroughly enjoyed compared to my horrible experience at libert in Marseilles! Will visit again inshallah as Grenoble is wonderful with great museums and nature and history going to tenth century and I want to ski in chambury too! Great memories and experience off to Aix now !

Good aparthotel
Posted Feb. 2, 2024 on HotelsQuite easy to find. It has spacious underground parking (additional fee). We only stayed there 1 night. Hotel room itself was spacious, with large balcony. It was more like small 1 bedroom apartment as bedroom was separated from living area. Bathroom and toilet room separate too, which i quite liked. Only things I didnt like is that we were given 1 bath towel and 1 hand towel for 2 persons and fridge was left in in a middle of the room, not even plugged in (it was brand new and too big to push it under the counter). As we came in late and were only crashing for 1 night we just got on with it. They offer contacless check out so we couldn't bring it up to them.
Besides minor issues, this place can be great for stopovers or longer stays.
