Great get away
Publié le 25 juin 2023 sur HomeAwayVery nice property in a quiet location. Clean house with plenty of room for our whole family (11of us). Nice backyard & lots of options for “play”…kids painted rocks, drew with sidewalk chalk, corn hole, ladder toss, fire pit, & grills plus the basement offered indoor options…ping pong, pool, & tv. Close to Shawano, so we took advantage of tubing on the Wolf River, visited the Twig’s beverage museum, shopped the farmer’s market & the shops on the main drag and finally visited Doc’s Harley Davidson store & zoo. Overall a great experience!!

Publié le 26 janv. 2023 sur HomeAwayI would say this property is pretty average when it comes to a VRBO. The amount of space was great, we had fun with the darts and there were lots of game options. The kitchen also had an impressive amount and variety of dishes. It wasn’t terribly clean and we were disappointed there was no dish soap and the dishwasher wasn’t releasing the soap- we contacted the owner and she said she suggests people bring their own dish soap and laundry detergent (although it was never suggested in the listing or the check in instructions prior to arriving!) and she wasn’t aware of the dishwasher issue when we contacted her.

Hi Nicole, we're so glad you enjoyed the space and great amenities, but we're sorry certain aspects of your stay fell short of expectations. After going over your feedback with the homeowner, they wanted to share the following:
- The home is thoroughly cleaned and sanitized before each guest's arrival.
- I will add a note to the listing so guests are informed before booking the property that they will need to supply their own dish soap and laundry detergent.
- As you mentioned, I was not aware there was an issue with the dishwasher until you let me know. I will look into this to ensure it is working properly.
The owner does all they can to make the best possible stay, and we look forward to this property hosting many satisfied guests!

Nice Property
Publié le 12 déc. 2022 sur HomeAwayUpon arrival we found the property to be very dirty. I called the owner to let her know this. She was located about 1 1/2 hours away but had offered to come and clean the property. I turned down her offer and instead asked for a portion of a refund which she agreed to. I cleaned the property myself. I felt bad for the owner because apparently her cleaning person was not doing their job. The owner was very pleasant to work with and accommodating. She did tell us she fired her cleaning lady and gave us a nice refund for our troubles. My family and I celebrated Thanksgiving at this property and a good time was had by all.

Publié le 5 déc. 2022 sur HomeAwayThe stay was great for our small family get together. The only reason I am not giving this 5 stars is the couches and chair in the living room area were very uncomfortable. This has been stated on some other reviews as well. Otherwise the property was very nice.

Great getaway spot
Publié le 23 oct. 2022 sur HomeAwayWe came up for my 27th birthday, and this place was great. Really nice seculded property, spacious yard in front and back, ample room to sleep 12 adults + 2 kids. House was stocked with all the essentials. I didn't see the listing state that all the couches are pull out beds but they are, besides the basement. As others said, wifi is slow but it's a rural property, so at least for me it was expected & worked Ok for streaming music & a Thursday Night Football game. Would definitely stay here again!

Good spot for a guys weekend
Publié le 14 nov. 2021 sur HomeAwayWe stayed for three nights for a guys weekend. It was a good fit for our group. The kitchen was very well stocked and everything worked well. The house was minutes away from a lot to do, and we liked walking the trail across the street. The only complaint I had was the furniture, specifically the couches were so uncomfortable. We'd stay here again for sure.

Spacious and comfortable
Publié le 7 juill. 2021 sur HomeAwayOverall it was good, only disappointing thing was that we had to clean the house back to how it was when we first arrived, even tho there was a cleaning fee added. House was spacious, modern look and gave a nice cabin atmosphere. It was meant to be a get away from the city place but we had to get out of the heat during the middle of the day, the wifi was super slow and main TV in living room would freeze. Over all it was a nice extended weekend getaway.

Nice mini vacation
