Great location
Publié le 30 août 2023 sur HotelsClean and comfortable accommodation. A great location within walking distance of city centre. Quiet although close to the road. Staff were obliging and room was serviced which is becoming rare these days. Bed was terrific. A hot tap over the sink would be great.

An okay spot for one night. Room was small and a bit tired. Check in was terrible as we were advised to call ahead due to it being a public holiday. However the call went to voicemail and no one called back. When we arrived the front office was in darkness and we didn’t know how to get our room key. It turned out that a staff member was in the office but with no lights on! He didn’t seem to know about the advice we had been given about calling ahead to arrange check in, but did say that the phone was playing up. This was all quite stressful after a long day of driving and not a great first impression.

Hi Vivian. No advice had been given to you to call ahead to arrange check in as I am the manager here and never given that advice. I was at the front desk and it was bright and not required to have lights on at that time. You pushed the door open but did not decide to enter. Rather walk back to your car and tell your husband. Your husband then entered the office and said "Look he is in here." We recommend you source for accommodation where automatic doors are in place as you seem incapable of operating manual doors.
