This place was a heavenly oasis for weary travelers. Easy check in, very well appointed rooms and a shower like no other I’ve had in my 60 years! Spotlessly clean. Easy food options in walking distance. Wish I could give it more stars.

The room was completely enclosed with no windows despite other rooms having windows. There were doves/pigeons making a racket above the ceiling in the evening and morning. The toilet seat was semi-detached - not very safe. The free WIFI options were not available to connect to from within the room. We would stay elsewhere another time.

We thank you for providing feedback. The room that was booked on line was a queen internal room, and all those rooms as the description confirms are internal, with large roof skylight. The other rooms which you mention, having a skylight are our King rooms, with windows and larger bed. They are only a minimal increase in price and well worth it, being larger and more spacious. We are sorry about the toilet seat becoming loose, but we rectify any maintenance issue very quickly. Again we are sorry that we weren't informed at the time of your stay, but have rectified the problem.

The Grand Motel was very much a letdown. They advertise on their website that they have Foxtel. They do not. They advertise that they have free Internet. They do have free Internet. It just doesn’t work. It took five minutes for a page to load and when I went to Speedtest the download speed was 0.11. it’s funny that they have in their book, in the room that if you stream movies or play games or use too much Internet you’ll get banned - you can’t even send an email The room was a good size. If you’re in the centre of the motel you do not get a window. You get a skylight with a metal shutter and you get to hear the pigeons make a lot of noise. The bed was good. The shower was hot. The area is a nice area. if you want to use the spa make sure you give them plenty of notice cause it’s not turned on and if you want to use the sauna, you can’t because it doesn’t work. The walls are extremely thin so you can hear everything that’s happening in the rooms around you and down the hall. Everything echoes so it can get very noisy. The underground parking is good

We thank you for your detailed review. We are sorry that you had WIFI issues that we were not aware of. We have reset the systems and is fully operational. We do appreciate that with 42 rooms, and many people at times using our WIFI as a complimentary service that speeds will slow down, and are sorry for that. As in the room description, our queen rooms are internal and have a roof skylight only. The indoor pool and spa are an added complimentary extra and you're correct in commenting that it is not turned on all the time, but via reception is fully operational for guests use. We try as best as possible to maintain low costs, which in turn we can provide competitive rates. We again thank you for taking the time in giving feedback.
