Great Views, Great Location, modern & cozy Apartment (renovated 2022)

Set in the world famous Bernese Oberland, Grindelwald is the base for some of Europe's best walking trails and has become something of a hiking Mecca over the years. During the winter months with over 260 kms of slopes in the Jungfrau region you are spoilt for choice.
The chalet is perfectly located in a very quiet private road just a 5-7 minutes walk from the railway station (Grindelwald Dorf) and the village center and the gondolas.

The apartment Shreckhorn with 86 m2 living area for (4-5 people) and 3.5 rooms (2 bedrooms) is located on the first floor. It's spacious and has a large south facing balcony
with uninterrupted views of the Eiger North Face and the surrounding mountain world.

With modern furniture, fully equipped kitchen, internet (WiFi), SAT TV and a covered parking space in front of the chalet.

Included in the rate: cleaning at the end of your stay, linen, towels, kitchen towels, Internet, carport and side costs (heating, power, water). The only additional costs are the local tourist taxes.

Superbe appartement avec vue 3 étoiles sur l'eiger.

Das Appartement war super: alles super in Ordnung, die nötigen Basisutensilien waren alle da und An- und Abreise haben super geklappt. We loved our stay in the Schreckhorn appartement . The views from the balcony, living room and kitchen were stunning.Very easy access to several gondolas making our hiking experience memorable. We really appreciated the discounts for several activities being a guest visitor at this property. Grindelwald has everything you need should you have forgotten anything. 2 Grocery stores 5 minutes walk from property . Parking space was great Overall:.Safe, secure and beautiful. Must not forget to thank hosts as they always answered us quickly if we had any questions.

Wonderful home with spectacular views
My family loved staying at this home. The home had everything we needed. The beds were comfortable, rooms were spacious and the deck was a perfect place to sit back and look at the Eiger. The location was perfect for getting to the train, buses and walking into town. Christine was helpful and prompt to respond to any questions and left a very thorough guest book. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this well located apartment. The views were phenomenal, and we enjoyed breakfast on the terrace each morning. It’s convenient to the train and bus station, just be ready for a very steep walk (good practice for all the magnificent hiking nearby). Luckily there is also a closer bus stop, which was great as well to all the connecting gondolas, etc. Plenty of space for a family of 4.

Delightful stay
Hiking holiday for 4 nights in July, with family. Somehow the view was even better than the pictures! We greatly appreciated the small touches (games to play in the cabinet, toys/stuffies for little kids, well-stocked kitchen that already had supplies like olive oil, salt, spices, etc). Coop market just up the hill made it easy to cook and save some money on restaurants. Easy access to multiple mountain transport options, very centrally located and convenient.

Would recommend this beautiful apartment to anyone. Easy directions and arrival. Parking space. Clean. Comfy beds, great shower, large tv, fast WiFi, kitchen with all utensils. View amazing. Perfect location in Grindelwald. Short walk from station, supermarket and main street so very central but also very peaceful. Communication from owners was fantastic….i had a problem with one of the communal washing machines one evening and Christine responded to my email within half an hour! We didn’t use our car the whole week. All positive.

Beautiful apartment in a great chalet building, less than 10mins walk from Grindelwald train station. Epic views of the mountains from the large balcony, it was hard to stop looking out of the windows. The apartment was very well equipped and decorated. Lovely bathroom with a great shower. Cosy living space, perfect for relaxing after a long day’s hiking.

Wir können nur schreiben, was alle anderen auch geschrieben haben: Super-Apartment, geniale Lage (350m von Bahnhof entfernt, 100m zu Busstation Richtung Skigebiete, 400m zu Grossverteiler und Dorfläden), grosser Balkon mit umwerfender Aussicht, sehr gut eingerichtet (praktisch, schön und gemütlich): Gute Betten, grosses Sofa, grosser Tisch, gut "bestückte" Küche. So lässt sich auch ein Schlechtwetter-Tag in bester Urlaubsstimmung verbringen. Zudem unkomplizierter Kontakt zu den Vermietern. Wir können die Ferienwohnung wärmstens empfehlen!
