Beautiful setting/grounds. Quirky house, lovely and clean.
Posted Apr. 22, 2017 on HomeAwayWe had a very relaxed stay. It was great to have access to the beach nearby for walks and kite flying. We did actually walk to Berck which was great but wouldn't recommend going to kite flying festival unless you like crowds!
The house was very comfortable as were the beds. Great shower too. Only downside is the toilet is downstairs and it doesn't have a sink. You have to take care using the stairs as the treads are narrow something good to bear in mind if you have small children that need the toilet at night! I would recommend this place. The owners were also very friendly and welcoming.
We used the tennis court and the grounds to practice archery. (From home) you can relax on the patio and hear nothing but birds. It's very tranquil and like a retreat. Many thanks too for the beer! X

Posted Jun. 28, 2016 on HomeAwayGite was clean and well equipped, decor nicely coordinated, bed comfortable although this personal preference, set out in lovely grounds. Amenities by car are close by. Julia very friendly and contactable not that we had need to.
Quite area but not too far from places to visit.

Amazing Cottage

A decision well worth it. The property is set on great surrounds with electric gates and tennis court along with huge garden, thus allowing plenty of space for children to play.
The cottage is very quaint and has been decorated to a high standard.
The kitchen is fully equipped with every thing you need.
The two double bedrooms are ideal and again decorated with superb colours.
The outside patio is fully equipped with plenty of furniture as well as there being a barbeque.
The location of the cottage is ideally suited for easy acess to Le Touquet and surrounding towns and only just over an hrs drive from Calais.
The owners are extremely helpful and friendly and we're happy to help when needed.
Highly recommend this cottage if you are looking for somewhere to stay.

Schöner Aufenthalt bei freundlichen Gastgebern
Posted Aug. 30, 2024 on HomeAwaySüßes Gästehaus auf großem Parkgrundstück. Fußläufig ist das Naturschutzgebiet mit vielen kleinen Pfaden erreichbar. Zu verschiedenen Stränden zum Baden sind wir mit dem Auto gefahren. Außerdem haben wir Ausflüge zu einer Dampfeisenbahn und einem Vogelschutzgebiet unternommen. Das Highlight für unsere Kinder war, dass wir den Tennisplatz benutzen durften. Vielen Dank besonders an Julia, die eine sehr freundliche Gastgeberin ist!

Schöner Aufenthalt in Groffliers
Posted Aug. 5, 2024 on HomeAwayBei der Unterkunft handelt es sich um das Gästehaus, welches sich direkt neben dem Haupthaus der Vermieterin auf einem weitläufigen Grundstück befindet. Das Gästehaus war gut ausgestattet und ausreichend groß, teilweise aber etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Wir hatten insgesamt einen schönen Aufenthalt.

Excellent séjour dans une maison au calme

La maison était agréable dans un magnifique jardin fleuri et bien situé pour de belles balades dans la baie d'Authie et non loin des plages. Julia a répondu à toutes nos questions avec rapidité. La maison est très propre. Nous recommandons ce lieu correspondant à l'annonce pour passer des vacances reposantes.

Posted Nov. 5, 2023 on HomeAwayTrès agréable environnement pour se ressourcer au calme malgré la tempête que nous avons eu. Nous avons apprécié la discrétion des propriétaires et la procédure d'entrée/sortie en toute autonomie. Les lits faits à l'arrivée et la mise à disposition des serviettes de toilette est en vrai plus.
