Sneaky charges
Posted Mar. 19, 2024 on HotelsI was pretty disappointed of my stay at Eco Hotel. Not everyday I write reviews on hotels I stayed. First, upon arrival it took 6 times for the key to work( 3 times going returning to the front desk) . Even the master key did not work. Second day, the key did not work again. Another several trip to the front desk. I asked for a new room .They refused it! On our 3rd day, I inquired about airport transfer because our flight is very early. I also mentioned to the front desk that I have a VIP 60% off. They called the manager and later confirmed that I did get my 60% off for hotel
Transfer. All good Right? Well, the next day we came down and waited for our hotel transfer everything seems good when I asked how much was the fee they told me $350, however when the people confirmed my hotel transfer the night before they told me $150. I was confused and I told the front desk that o had a comfort that the fare was $150 because of my 60% off. I thought we were going to missed our flight because he was adamant that it’s $350. We decided to take the transfer because we didn’t have a choice. On the way to airport the front desk called the taxi driver and asked him to lower his fair for $150. I was so annoyed of how the staff of the Eco Hotel acted that way.
