Spacious condo
Publié le 24 déc. 2023 sur HomeAwayLots of space. I wouldn't walk after dark around there anymore after reading after the fact that there's crime there. The streets aren't bad well lit as Providencia but it's a great area to walk around in the daytime.

I appreciate the review, but in fairness to say that an area is "unsafe" based on something you heard happened nearby is a pretty blanket statement, especially, since you personally were not a victim of any crime anytime during your stay!
I'm sure most people are aware that In big city's anywhere in the world, it's probably not a good idea to walk around late nite by yourself.

The little things added up
Publié le 27 sept. 2019 sur HomeAwayWe lived here for a month. The location was good for us, near several bus lines, and in a reasonably safe neighborhood. The apartment is spacious and the beds comfortable. Clothes washer and dryer were helpful. But, the property manager did not prioritize our comfort and convenience--the apartment was not ready for us when we checked in, and we had a very difficult time working with him to resolve multiple issues, some of which were never addressed. WiFi was only 10 MB, and did not reach to the kitchen or bedrooms. There was a high level of noise throughout the day and night from street traffic, barking dogs, and (we guess) banging machinery. The kitchen was reasonably equipped for two people but the oven and espresso maker didn't work properly.

Thanks for the review but better communication with the landlord would have been a huge plus since I own several condos in the building and could have easily addressed any noise issues in a different wing of the complex. Never was anything mentioned about espresso machine or oven not working (until now). The correct comment here should have been " I did no how to use the espresso machine nor how to turn on the oven because it never occurred to me that I should ask the landlord for instructions on how to use these appliances".
Lack of communication and slow response times were highly lacking by these tenants.
The internet is dedicated fiber high speed and worked the entire time. There is no longer any street construction and no barking dog within the building.

We enjoy our stay at Richard’s condo #3 is very spacious and safe with restaurants down the corner
Publié le 22 janv. 2019 sur HomeAwayWe enjoy the walking neighborhood to a few good restaurants also the spacious condo worked great for us and we felt safe. Richard the owner was checking with me to make sure we were enjoying our stay in his property.
The day we arrived at the property we were given the choice of either condo #2 or condo#3 we were pleasantly surprised to have that option and we went with #3
Spacious, clean, safe and walking neighborhood close enough to everything

Great location, clean, quiet, spacious
Publié le 7 janv. 2019 sur HomeAwayWe enjoyed our stay here, but could have been much more enjoyable if the owner were to take an inventory of the kitchen amenities and replace some missing items. We were here over Christmas and there was a decided lack of pots and pans, knives are very dull, and a lack of glassware. A how to book would also be great...how to light the stove, what to do with garbage, emergency numbers, where to find groceries, where is the bus stop, etc. I hope the owner will read this and address these few issues, because in spite of this, it is a fabulous property and we had a great time in Guadalajara!

Dear guest,
The guest book is behind the bar area and or may have been moved elsewhere by the previous guest. I never heard from the guest so how would I know to address that?.....
Also, some of the items mentioned regarding grocery and bus info are also listed on my vbro website.
If there were things missing in the kitchen etc a quick text, call or email would had resolved any concerns that same day or within 24 hours.
I treat all of my traveler reviews very seriously and strive to learn from each experience. I always suggest that travelers reach out the the homeowner first "during" their stay since once gone its too late. If the owner does not address the issue during the travelers stay then there's a valid complaint. Many travelers do themselves a great disservice by "not" communicating with owner during their stay and its unfortunate since so much can be gained and resolved by doing so. Reviews are just after the fact information where there's no benefit for that traveler especially if the traveler does not reach out to the owner at any point. I would assume most homeowners would prefer a positive review rather than a negative review and thus most homeowners will normally strive to resolve things ASAP in order to earn a good review. Thus communication is key.
Just my opinion.

The apartment is well equiped with things needed to cook and relax also is clean and is located
close from everything.
My family and I had a great vacation and everything needed to make our stay comfortable.
We are thinking on book the same place when go back to Guadalajara.
Also Guille always reply back in seconds and help us with anything we needed.
