Amazing Stay
Stayed in Guanajuato for 1 night and my stay at El Meson de Los Poetas was amazing. Beautiful hotel and amazing customer service and hospitality. There was hot water, an extra warm blanket, and the bed was spacious and comfortable. Walkable to the main sites and perfectly situated next to a coffee shop which I highly recommend. Hotel offered luggage storage free of charge after check-out and called taxi service when it was time to depart. I felt safe and comfortable. I grew up visiting Guanajuato with family and I love it every time. I will stay here again next time I spend the night in Guanajuato.

I visited the third week of November and the weather was perfect. The nights were cool, which made it perfect for sleeping. The bed was firm but after all it felt good on my back. The service from the front desk, dining service snd housekeeping was excellent. I stayed in room 401 and the only downside was the window to the room looked out into the hallway and the light shone in even with the curtain closed. I think security would turn it off late at night but if your early to bed you can expect to have it shining in. I will stay there again. Thank you!

Impressed!
The hotel was very clean. I like the quirkiness of the layout and the atypical design. It had a fun atmosphere. It was a good price for a nice size room. The staff were friendly and helpful. This was in a good location in walking distance to museums, restaurants, shopping and other attractions.

We loved this unusual hotel. The rooms were like in a maze. Lots of character. The only slight drawback was that the safe in my room was not working. Otherwise we had a lovely time.

Mesón stay
It was an amazing place to stay. Carved right into the mountain the hotel was located. Like a maze it was. One hallway lead to another doorway down another path. Staff was superb….. congrats to them.

That staff was wonderful and hospitable. Everyone from the front desk, waiter on the restuarant, and bell staff all went out of there way to make our stay comfortable. Also, the rooms were clean and the location was good.
