Careful what room they give you!
Publié le 4 mai 2019 sur HotelsAll in all very disappointed. I was first given a room that was in an extension of the building that was still undergoing works (no painting, cables floating around). I complained and was ultimately given another room in the main area of the hotel. Better but room is tiny, no A/C, no ventilator, the noise make it extremely hard to sleep.
Concerning the staff, without being blankly impolite, they are really not friendly either. I didn't see one smile and you feel like they do not care at all and just want to get rid with their job. Didn't give any explanation about the city so I ended up in the hotel close by to ask for information, service is way better in the other hotels. Only good point is the central location.

Chose to stay at this hotel because of its location to the theater Juarez and el Pípila. First time staying in Guanajuato overnight and did so because we wanted to experience a Callejoneada. At the hotel, Brenda at the front desk was kind enough to book us this experience and offered to book us a city tour for the next day. She was kind, knowledgeable and very helpful. We booked the city tour and got an amazing tour guide. We were able to explore the Museo de Momias, a mine, el Pípila and do some shopping. It was great! Definitely recommend a stay here. Will be back soon I hope!
