Perfect guatape experience at bosko
Publié le 23 sept. 2024 sur HotelsPleasantly surprised with the quality of the hotel, rooms, food. Would have been 5 stars if they had a bidet in every toilet. The view from the room was amazing! Such a premium that it has its own dock so we did the lake tour as well.

Amazing place. Tranquil, sophisticated yet easy going. The food is out of this world. Close enough to town to walk (20 ish minutes). 5 min TukTuk ride to town is about $2.

Let's begin with the positive aspects. The property itself is charming, and the staff are friendly, professional, and very accommodating. Upon our arrival, the room was immaculate, with the AC and hot tub already running, which was a nice touch.
However, there were several drawbacks. The service was extremely slow; it took 45 minutes and two follow-up calls for our cocktails to be delivered. Considering the property has only 10 rooms, this level of service is unacceptable. Additionally, it gets very cold at night, and the only source of warmth is heated blankets. Unfortunately, our blankets were not functioning, and despite calling for assistance, it took over 40 minutes and again two calls for maintenance to arrive.
Lastly, while the heavy rain during our stay was beyond the hotel's control, it significantly impacted our experience. The noise from the rain on the tent was so loud that it made sleeping difficult. It would have been helpful if the hotel had warned us about the potential for water to seep into the tent and advised us not to place our luggage near the edges (some of our belongings got wet). Providing earplugs could also have been a thoughtful addition.
In summary, while the hotel has potential, it fell short of expectations, especially given its high price point for Colombia. I was disappointed that the service did not meet the standard I anticipated.
