Wonderfully roomy home

Family wedding.
Publié le 29 sept. 2023 sur HomeAwayFamily wedding. We also rented the house next door. Kids and adults totaled 20. The rentals and location were perfect. It was a great experience.
Incidentally 1 kitchen cabinet door had a loose hinge.

Villa Tranquilla

The bedrooms were fine (we wanted 5 BRs), but the house is a bit more 'tired' than it appears and the layout is bizarre. The hot tub (which was a draw) was not inviting; the water had an eery green tint and the smell of chemicals was overwhelming. The BBQ worked fine, but the oven was very slow to heat up and never reached over 400F - despite setting at 475. The neighborhood is quiet, but there is basically a junkyard across the street.
Overall, 3 out of 5 stars.

We are sorry you felt the home was not as nice as the photos. We offer guests an option to preview the property before a stay in case it may not be a good fit, or the right layout for the group. Our staff members are always happy to answer any questions guest have during their stay and help if there is any issue. The hot tub as mentioned in the guest portal -all guests have access to login via the email- that is clean, serviced weekly, and its normal color. The greenish color happens from the chemical bromine (keeps the tub sanitary) reacts with the minerals in the water here.
We are surprised to hear about the oven and will have our maintenance team check on it. Communication with guests is important to us, especially if they need a little more time to gather their things, or have any questions or concerns. We would love the opportunity to host you again at another home.

Amazing Location for a Big Group

Sweet jewel of a home
Publié le 14 déc. 2022 sur HomeAwayClean, comfortable, lots of towels, comfy beds, decently appointed kitchen. Our only constructive feedback is regarding the hot tub. We really wanted to use it but the chemicals were not right, the water was green and after the first day the water was no longer heating.

The water is clean, it just appears very green due to the interaction the Bromine has with the minerals from the well water onsite. The spa service person has assured us on many occasions it is balanced and sanitary. We can always be reached for any questions or concerns during your stay. Great time, cute house, some maintenance could make it even better

The layout of the house left a little to desire ... bathrooms were a bit of a challenge. It's time for a little maintenance too on screens, outdoor furniture, etc. While it's close to town ... don't be fooled ... it's hike. Overall, a fabulous stay.

Cousins Reunion
