Great Location
Publié le 29 avr. 2024 sur HomeAwayGreat Location! Not a busy area but close enough to restaurants and activities if you wish to go out. House had lots of space and was well equipped. Nice private beachfront back porch and beach access! Three bedrooms with lots of beds, plus sleeper sofa. Home could sleep many people!
House was clean. However… it needs a good deep cleaning. Blind were very dusty. Went to close them for the night, yuck. House needs updated some. Kitchen was nice. But house needs a coat of paint inside and out, with good paint. Bathrooms were ok. But the toilet kept sticking and running water. Needed to shake the handle EVER time. I am not good at remembering. So wasted a lot of water. Also I hate for a shower curtain to wrap around my legs and body! Maybe update to a glass door or add a magnet to the bottom. Idk
Furniture was fine. Master needed a new mattress. I didn’t try the other beds. Also looked and felt like hospital sheets and very thin coverlet/bedspread.
Having said that, I would definitely stay here again! Everything was in working order. We had no issues. Would be a nice house and location to spend time with family and friends!

Amazing family vacation!
Publié le 27 avr. 2024 sur HomeAwayGreat location. Convenient house layout for family of five (two adults, three kids under 10) plus grandfather. Great set up with direct private beach access for kids to come and go from the house (with an outdoor shower to rinse off!)

We spent mornings and evenings sitting on the deck overlooking the ocean, and days on what felt like a private beach. Truly a remarkable setting. The open kitchen and living room provided a great gathering place when not outside. The bedrooms were roomy and comfortable. I would return again! Thanks for sharing this gem with us for the week!

Loved this house and location

Great Getaway

The house needs a lot of repairs such as loose doorknobs, broken blinds, leaking outdoor faucet, clogged drains, loose kitchen faucet. The worst part was a refrigerator that would not cool. When I reported this I did not get a response and had to report it a second time. The problem was never resolved. I was told to put it on the medium setting and give it 12 hours to cool. That did not work. We had to keep everything in the freezer and keep an eye on it so items didn’t freeze. The beach fills up fast so you have to get your spot early.

Excellent Location - Terribly managed
Publié le 6 juin 2023 sur HomeAwayPROS: The house could not be in a more perfect location. It's right on the beach - no 1000 person hotel. Even over Memorial Day weekend, the beach was not crowded. The house itself is spacious. Our family of 5 had plenty of room to spread out. The kitchen had every piece of equipment you might need.
CONS: Everything else. The toliet paper is 1/2 ply. There are no extra paper towels or trash bags. I was told by Vacasa that they expect guest to provide the basics. The gentleman I spoke to was rude and curt and couldn't give a care. I understand it is a beach house, but there was sand on the floor when we arrived. There is also no broom to sweep up sand during your stay - only a poor-suctioning vacuum. The wooden stairs off the back deck leading to the beach are coming off. There are nails poking out and boards that are not completely attached. Under the house there was a lot of broken furniture, cigarette butts, and trash.
No beach chairs or umbrellas are provided. There are a few boogie boards and sand castle toys locked under the house. The "grill" is an ancient charcoal grill that looks like it would crumble if you were to move it.
All in all, we would stay here again if there were no other options. It seems overpriced for offering nothing except for an incredible location.
