This fabulous gulf front home offers 9 bedrooms, 9 full baths, 2 half baths, 2 kitchens, 2 balconies, beautiful gunite pool with large deck with gas grill for entertaining. This home hits all the marks with 10' ceilings throughout, a huge gourmet kitchen on the first floor, gas cooktop, freestanding icemaker, Keurig coffee maker and fully stocked for all your cooking needs. This home sleeps 34 with 7 king bedrooms with private bath in each & a bunkroom on each floor (sleeps 8 in each bunk room) and plenty of room for large family gatherings, weddings or family reunions.

Good location, easy access
This house gave us everything we were looking for. The location of this house is excellent. Easy access to all the things in the area. The private boardwalk to the beach is great, as you do not have to walk over the sand dune. The pool was nice but chilly ($500 to heat was a bit extreme for us). The elevator is really handy. The main kitchen is stocked well. Plenty of parking. We had 20 people ages 3-84 and everyone had space. The view from the decks was amazing. With all that said, we would not stay here again based on the price. We did splurge on this last family vacation (older relatives last trip) but most of the family agreed it was still not worth the price. We had no problems with anything. The owners were gone so the neighbors were very helpful when we asked for things.

Loved it!
The boardwalk to the beach was great. The pool was very accommodating. The whole outdoor experience was perfect. We started with 32 and everyone was comfortable. The upstairs kitchen / living area wasn’t used much. It ended up being an office area for those that needed to get some work done. Was great to have two fridges, and indoor ice maker on each floor, and a wine fridge on each floor. Some of the king sized rooms are a little small with limited storage space. But, it all works out cause it was just a place to sleep, shower, change. No issues with the owner living upstairs.

Best Beach House in Gulf Shores!
We booked this for a family beach vacation with grandparents, siblings and ton of cousins to enjoy for a week in June. This is the perfect location and was so big! Everyone had plenty of room and the walk to the beach was so easy! We will be staying here every year!

We had a blast!! The girls loved being able to access the beach and enjoy the volleyball net. The rooms and showers were impeccable and fit our team perfectly! Loved having two kitchens and the appliances and dish ware fit all of our needs. We will make this a yearly trip for our Gulf Shores tournament.

Great Place for a Group
This is a beautiful property with everything one could ask for—spacious, very clean, two beautiful and well-equipped kitchens, nice bedding, plenty of bathrooms, a wonderful and large pool and outdoor kitchen and perfect placement on the beach. The owners are very timely in their communications. This is a perfect house for a group. I highly recommend it.

Gulf Shores Family Reunion
Our family stayed at Porter’s Mark over the 4th of July. The property is very nice and all that we hoped for based on the pictures. The private pool, outdoor grilling and eating area, and access to the beach is A+. The owners are very friendly and quick to respond to any requests. My only suggestion is more amenities readily accessible such as extra toilet paper, tissues, trash bags and pool/beach towels as a hotel would supply, especially since our family was coming in from all over the country, many of us flying, and could not bring those items with us. I would highly recommend this property as a vacation destination. Gulf Shores is beautiful and has great energy without being too busy. The home was impressive and a great place to bond as a family. Everyone had a wonderful time.

Awesome property!!!
This house is absolutely beautiful!! Very clean and great accommodations. We had 22 in our group ranging from ages of 5-71. They had everything there to get your week started. There was toilet paper, a few pods for dishwasher and a few pods for laundry. We had also brought all that for our week stay. The walkway leading to the beach was really nice. And we really loved the pool!! We enjoyed the place so much that we really did not feel much need to venture out. Although when you did everything was close. Just a few minutes away. We cooked dinner almost every night of our week stay and we thought they had everything in the kitchen you would need. My only advice is to make sure you read everything on the refrigerator and counter that the owner leaves for instructions. Because we did not see the note about the city coming after dusk and removing everything on the beach. I would highly recommend this place to anyone. And would love to go back!!

Not entirely what we expected
Let's just start off by saying I'm not one to leave a poor review. I don't like being "that" guy, but thought it necessary to leave an honest review for potential future guests. Good: Traveled to the beach with friends and family as a group of 24. The location and the home were great. Plenty of space, clean, and on the beach, so no complaints there. Bad: 1. The owner/host lives on the 3rd floor. This is the first time I've ever rented a VRBO where the owner lives in the property. Mark and his wife Kate were polite/friendly, but he was around and a member of my family saw his snooping through our trash on two separate occasions. 2. The hot water heater wasn't big enough to accommodate hot showers for everyone. I never personally experienced a cold shower, but some of my family mentioned that they had to take a cold shower sporadically. 3. Not nearly enough necessities for a stay. When we arrived, there wasn't any extra toilet paper, paper towels, trash bags, dishwashing detergent and only 1 laundry pod above each washer, which is meant to start a load of towels before checking out. Not a huge deal, but be prepared to go to the grocery store upon arrival to stock the home with basic supplies. 4. No rails in shower for handicap accessibility. We traveled with multiple generations of family and the showers didn't have hand rails, which I believe, was in the description. 5. The grill area needs a major updating. Probably the worst grill I've ever used. We cooked nightly, but a few of the knobs were seized and barely turned, and it appeared to have never been cleaned. It definitely looked like it was a nice area once upon a time, but definitely could use some love. 6. Two of the showers in the home gave us trouble. One leaked from the second floor bunk room into the tub below on the first floor. 7. Cameras in the pool area. I assume it's for liability reasons, but still not super comfortable with the lack of privacy. 8. Lack of kitchen supplies. Be prepared to run multiple loads of dishes per day. The home wasn't stocked for the amount of people the home claims it's capable of accommodating. Overall: Again, it was a great home as far as size and location. It was disappointing not having privacy from the owner and seeing him as often as we did. Also disappointing not having basic necessities and having to run to the store immediately to stock the home. Final verdict: Would look elsewhere when booking for next time.

We had a great time at Porters mark. We were only 13 persons, so everyone had a king bed except the two youngest, who shared one of the bunk rooms. It was cold, so we’re very glad we had the pool heated. Fantastic location in gulf Shores!.

Amazing Family Get-Away Spot!!
When we arrived there were some issues on Christmas Day and the owners immediately responded and had someone at the house within 5 minutes!! Overall, we had a relaxing week, enjoying the pool, beach and outdoor spaces. This is the perfect place for a family reunion with lots of space for playing games, eating and just being together. Each bedroom has its own private bathroom which was so nice! Overall it was a great week and we would highly recommend this rental.

60th Anniversary
Had 31 family members ages 2 to 82 for 5 days to celebrate Thanksgiving and our 60th wedding anniversary. The condo slept 34 with plenty of space and lots of bathrooms. It was very well equipped with appliances, dishes, cookware, and other ammenities.

I've rented at least a dozen of these beach houses over the years. This house was put together by someone who knew what they were doing. The furniture was nice and did not feel cheap. The kitchen was well appointed with good quality kitchenware. The house had a great layout with private bathrooms for each bedroom. It is perfect for big groups. The pool was also a bit bigger than other places I've stayed. The owner popped by to introduce himself and was very friendly, accommodating and helpful. Typically, at the end of the vacation the family says, "That was great. We should rent another house next year." This time they said, " That was great. We should rent THIS house next year!"

Perfect home for family reunion
This was the perfect home for our family! We spent the majority of our time and cooked all our meals at the house. Loved having the two kitchens and the pool was perfect for adult swimming as well as an area for our 1-year old cousin. And especially loved that everyone had their own bathroom in addition to 1/2 baths for guests. The home was very clean. There were some minor signs of wear and tear but nothing that impacted our experience. We would definitely stay here again! Kate was an excellent hostess and incredibly responsive.

50th Wedding Anniversary celebration
Loved this property, plenty of room for all, the pool is amazing as well as the walkway to the beach. Also lots of shaded seating and gas grill under the house next to the pool. Shallow shaded area of pool, perfect for our little ones. close to anything you might want to do, but just west enough to avoid the huge crowds.
