What we anticipated but...
Publié le 28 oct. 2024 sur HomeAwayIt is a well loved old farm house, with dated but comfortable furniture and appliances. Upon arrival there was a noticeable smell (we just purchased an odor eliminating air freshener to cover). The bunk house had a musty off-putting smell, so we opted not to use it. We didn't use the hot tub as we couldn't figure out how to turn it on/off.
It is a no outlet street that is very busy. The traffic greatly exceeded the 20mph speed limit.
We also encountered a gentleman on a golf cart who went by us then turned around and came back with his camera pointing at us. Assuming he was taking pictures or a video. When doing the required load of laundry before departure the washing machine seemed to be stuck in the rinse/spin cycle (we started it at 6:00am and it wasn't done at 8:00 am). We reached out to the owner to let them know. Overall the property served our purpose and we had a comfortable stay.

Weekend Golf outing
Publié le 21 oct. 2024 sur HomeAwayMy wife and I rented this VBRO because it was close to the Grand Bear Golf Club. They are in the midst of a very bad drought so the pond was pretty low, I hope they get rain soon. The house was perfect for our group, especially the hot tub.

Great Location
Publié le 9 sept. 2024 sur HomeAwayWe were in the area for a wedding. This was a great location for us near the venue. It gave family members a place to rest between events. The beds were comfortable, and we had everything we needed. The children enjoyed the outdoor area, especially feeding the fish! We only used the house and did not utilize the bunkhouse.

Publié le 25 juill. 2024 sur HomeAwayThe separate cabin was a bit musty. And the house keeper does not do a great job. We found food wrappers under beds. The people that owned the house we great about all of it and apologized. I stay here again.

perfect for our needs
