Sweet Retreat
Publié le 5 août 2024 sur HomeAwayThis place was perfect for a weekend getaway to the beach. It was close to the beach, close to town, and had anything and everything you could need provided. It was very clean, the yard was nicely mowed and partially fenced. The sitting area outside was nice and shady. The area was quiet except for the train coming through occasionally, but it wasn’t a bother. We stayed with our pooch and a bed sheet, towels, and poop bags were provided for him. We did watch him in the yard to make sure he stayed. We loved Le Petit Chateau!!
If I had any negatives to say, it would be that you may not want to stay for an entire week since it is small. Also, we traveled with a pet and the beaches were not pet friendly in this location, but we knew that was the situation before we left. We just drove down to Waveland where he could go too.
I would highly recommend Le Petit Chateau to any couple for a nice short getaway.

A special slice of Heaven!
Publié le 16 mars 2024 sur HomeAwayWonderful experience! From booking to leaving! Cute little cottage just perfect for what we needed! Very clean and cozy! The queen size bed was very comfortable. The shower had excellent water pressure! The owner thought of everything! From toilet paper to dog poop bags! We didn’t need a thing. The outdoor space was perfect for our pups to exercise. We couldn’t be more pleased! Plenty of restaurants to choose from within minutes. We’ll be back!

Publié le 28 janv. 2024 sur HomeAwayIt is a nice place to stay for 2 people the volume on the tv did not work and the ally that you park on is very muddy and not a good road to travel on a motorcycle it holds a lot of water.

Hi Byron - I'm not sure what you are referring to when you say the volume on the TV didn't work . . . we checked the volume after you departure and it worked fine. I so wish you would have called to get assistance. I'm sorry about the alley - you could have not traveled that way at all and parked on the street. I've never seen the alley muddy but perhaps there was some sort of water main activity being conducted by the city. Again, we strive to make certain that all of our guests have a great stay so it is disheartening to see this sort of review. Keep in mind there are certain things that are out of control of the owner as I do not "own" the alley. Thanks again for choosing Le Petit Chateau! Betsy
