Property was doubled booked, we never got to stay there.

Jeff , first and foremost, all your money was returned, plus some. You were given all my apologizes, and I was able to accommodate your stay with my sister cabins located down the road, on the same lake. Secondly, your friends complained about things like the TV being too hard to use and the hot tub being low temp when the guest itself has control over how hot it is

Ice Fishing Trip

Up North Lodge restaurant/bar is only minutes away with a great menu selection.We rented two cabins which were perfect for our party of 8. Kitchens are a bit small, but have everything you need for cooking meals. Host was great to work with.

Oven did not work, make shift air conditioner in one of our cabins, front screen door was missing on one of our cabins and our other cabin screen door had a 3” gap at the bottom. Took two days to get towels to one cabin. Three of the four boats were broken or busted and could not be put in the water. Dog running loose was aggressive towards us along with dog droppings on the ground everywhere. If you like this type of vacation then this is the place to be.

This property was bought on the 21st of July 2023 and does not reflect the business done at this property. Many repairs in process including new appliances, fixed boats and doors. Not entirely sure about what is meant by "make shift A/C" as there is central air in one of the units he rented and a wall unit in the other. There is a doggie bag tower on property and I have not seen a single dropping anywhere since I bought the place.

Quiet peaceful
Publié le 19 févr. 2023 sur HomeAwayIt was very peaceful and quiet my dog played with the owners dog and we visited Gwinn for a little shopping, The property has a good energy - there is a lot of history here Built in 1960s and being renovated. The owner is very helpful and available if you need anything. The beds and linens were very nice , puzzles, cards, Yahtzee games. Smart tv for movies. I’m from UP and live here and enjoyed the getaway from hustle in Marquette. We love the woods and peacefulness of nature.

Convenient Cabin for Snowmobiling
Publié le 15 janv. 2023 sur HomeAwayWe had a great stay at the cabin. It had everything needed. We had plenty of room to park our truck and trailer and were able to ride from the cabin to trail 33 (about 2 miles).

A Wonderful Week

Nice getaway spot for fishing
Publié le 5 avr. 2022 sur HomeAwayHad fun, hope to book again soon with my dad this time as he will be retiring soon,...have a feeling my brother will be up there soon to book as he was jealous of all the pictures and fun we had. Great place to stay, can do fishing, check out the ice caves, or nearby waterfalls. Had a blast!

February cabin stay

Nice get away
Publié le 21 janv. 2022 sur HomeAwayClean, and peaceful. Exactly what we wanted and looking for. The host was very informational and answered every question in a quick manner. We did nothing but relax. Being in the medical field it gets very busy and chaotic.. We needed this and everything was perfect!!
