Large home at Calabay Parc, Haines City, Fl Free WiFi

This large 5 bedroom 5 bathrooms villa with wood/tile flooring on the first floor and carpets on the second floor is located in the prestigious gated community at Calabay Parc at Tower lake. The home has a master suite on the first floor with a King size bed, a walk-in closet & direct pool access. The other 4 bedrooms are on the second floor. The second suite has a king size bed with a walk-in closet. Bedroom 3 has a queen bed with a walk-in closet. Bedrooms 4 has two twin beds and bedroom 5 has a twin bunk bed with walk-in closets. The master bath comes with a large bath/jacuzzi, walk-in shower and a sink. The second suite has its own bathroom with a walk-in shower. Bathroom 3 & 4 have walk-in tub shower & sinks. Bathroom 5 is a pool toilet with water closet and wash basin.

The living area with formal dining has a large cow-hide luxurious sofas with coffee tables and lamps. A cable ready 50” LED TV is provided for your entertainment pleasure.

Fully equipped kitchen with a four ring grill, oven, large refrigerator/freezer, microwave, dishwasher and twin sinks with garbage disposal. Toaster Oven and coffee maker is also provided for your use. There are 2 bar stools at the kitchen counter. The pool area has a table, 6 chairs and 4 loungers. The pool and patio are covered by an insect screen. The pool and outdoor jacuzzi can be heated at extra cost.

The garage is carpeted and converted to a game room with all brand new games which includes a pool table, basketball, air hockey and foosball.

The home is in an excellent location with easy access to guest needs. Many stores like Publix (supermarket), Walmart, Loews, Walgreens are within a short driving distance. The new mall 'Posners Place' is 6 minute drive. All disney attractions, Seaworld, Universal studios and International drive are 20-30 minutes drive. The Florida designer outlets mall at the southern end of International drive is also 20 minutes away. Downtown Orlando is 35 minutes. There are many state parks within 60 minutes drive. The Gulf coast, Tampa and Busch gardens are 75 miles in I-4.

The property owner moved us last min on the day off arrival due to lack of pool maintenance. After arriving at the other property, the pool was cloudy, and I was told it was “safe” to swim. It was disgusting! I had to find other alternatives to entertain my children. The furniture was outdated, destroyed! There was a bug in the bed. The home was hot and could not turn the thermostat down it was set to 74 degrees. I will never book with this property manager again a waste of $1,600.

Everything we needed and more!
We are a family of 10 and this house was exactly as presented. Enough bedrooms and sleep spaces for 10 people with the added benefit of comfortable beds and good sheets. The kitchen was one of the best stocked kitchens we have had while staying in a VRBO with everything needed to cook for 10 people. There was also enough hot water for people to bath at night which is a rare find. Walking in we noticed the property wasn't as "fresh looking" as other properties we have stayed in but it was top of the line clean and well maintained. The host and property manager were quick to respond with any questions. We would recommend this house and definitely stay again.

This is the first time I haven't given all 5 stars for a hime. The photos don't match the inside of the house. They need to be updated. I wasn't able to bake anything without going out and getting a pan. There wasn't any chairs at the counter top. The pool was nice and clean. We did pay for the heat for the pool and spa. We were close to legoland and everyone did have there own rooms.

The home was tidy. We were not able to use the games room as pool balls were missing and also the balls for the fooseball table. The pool and hot tub were very much a highlight...perfect temperature as we paid for the heating.

Great Winter Getaway 4 adult snowbirds
We are four snowbirds chasing the sun. We stayed in this rental for 6 weeks. The location is central to shopping, restaurants, and many golf courses. The security at the front gate is an added bonus. The neighborhood is generally quiet. Street parking , while allowed, is limited by the HOA, but the driveway easily accommodated 3 vehicles. The cleaning crew was leaving when we arrived and they did an excellent job. One of the guest does house cleaning and she was very impressed. The house is spacious and well equipped. The layout allowed each of us to have private space. Each bedroom was equipped with a television and there is a large screen TV in the living room. The mattresses were a little firm for us and my spouse and I added a topper to the bed that made it very nice. The linens and towels met our needs. The master bedroom had its own entrance to the pool and this was very convenient. The kitchen was well appointed with microwave, dishwasher, large pantry and many assorted pots, pans , dishes and silverware. There was nothing that needed to be added to the kitchen equipment. One day the coffee pot was not working and the management company replaced it the same day. There was more than enough sitting room in the very large living and dining room for up to at least 6 adults. The house is a little tired looking and could benefit from a few small improvements. The furniture was very comfortable but several bedroom drawers had loose or missing knobs. Some of the blinds have seen better days. The kitchen would benefit from knobs on the doors as well. Some of the bathrooms need toilet paper holders and towel racks. The first floor is tiled and in great shape, the stairs and upstairs bedrooms need new carpeting and we have heard that that is planned for the near future. We spent many hours reading by the pool, playing volleyball in the pool and enjoying the hot tub.The pool was heated and well maintained. The lanai was lovely, it had plenty of seating for 4 adults including loungers and a large glass table with chairs. There is a game room which we did not used but it appears that several parts of the games have wandered off, uncertain how useful this room is as again we did not have need of it. The full laundry room was wonderful, and used often. Both the management company and the owner, Jay, were very responsive to our needs. The pool technician came weekly to maintain the pool. We recommend this rental.

We enjoyed the house. Everyone had plenty of room. Good size kitchen and game room. The washer and dryer were very handy. The only real down fall was the pool. 2 days we came back and had to add water because it was so low the it was under the jets. The next day we came back and the hot tub was not hot. I message the property manager each time. She came and checked out our the next day and the breaker was flipped. That was the only bummer especially when we paid the extra money for heat and then wasn't really able to enjoy it. Because once we added water it wasn't warm again.

Blame someone else
Attempted to verify if there was damage to property prior to checking in on October 13th via message to site October 7th. Arrived at property to find torn screens at the pool area. I reached out to property manager about at least pulling screen from hanging into the center of pool and was told he would get someone to come out to address this issue. Needless to say I wasn’t able to use pool and other guests stayed at another location with pool. Air conditioning went out on 1st floor and I was told they would update me when technician would be available. I checked back hours later to be told technician would arrive following day which was my checkout day. I checked out couple hours later.

This house was in a quiet area with plenty of space for the family to have private time from being together. The pool was wonderful for the kids. Hot tub was ok. The only downside was the garage game room had no air and the games need repaired. Other than that it was a great place to stay!!!

The property has alot of small issues that need attention, house isn't kept up very well, needs alot of TLC, when we arrived the water main at the street was turned off and locked, caretakers cut the lock off, not sure why that was locked?? House was not stocked the way they advertised it, very minimal covers and pillows on beds, pool and hot tub were heated and worked well? Timer for hot tub had a broken know for turning it on...had to buy a tool to turn it on. Kinda high priced compared to others in the same neighborhood.

We spent the weekend at the house. Enjoyed our time there. The only things that were a downfall were the amount of flies that stayed at the front door all day, and some of the wall needing to be cleaned from previous renters. But besides that we had no problem at all.

Nice house poor maintenance
When we first came to the house me and my family had to clean the whole house because it wasn't clean properly. The pool area had trash all around it; a pool tech came and brushed all the trash in a corner by the door. Also, when we arrive we didn't have air conditioning. Another tech had to come and fix that as well. There were also dead worms in the bottom of the pool. There were techs coming in and out because the maintenance was not properly kept; all while being on vacation. This is unacceptable as a guest at your property.

Not so luxurious
This property is not as advertised. Neighborhood was nice and the house was big. The house was kind of disgusting. Cabinets and refrigerator were sticky and almost slimy feeling. The refrigerator actually had food on it. Spent the first evening cleaning the place so it wasn't gross. The game room advertised all new games. This is not true as the basketball game was broken, the pool sticks were also unusable, and the fishing rods had no reels on them. The pool table was so dirty and had a white stains on it. Don't even want to know what that was. We didn't allow our kids in there. There were multiple places on the ceiling that had who knows what on it. Paint peeling off the ceiling and lots of stains from where the roof has had leaks. Sat on one of the kids beds and it broke as soon as it was sat on. There was tack strip showing where a little of the carpet was missing that a couple of us stepped on. The pool area was decent at best. The tile around the skimmer has come off and I think I stepped on a semi sharp piece in the pool multiple times. The pool heater didn't work, ceiling fan outside was so dirty you couldn't use it because black stuff would fly around. The screen was torn so there were also a ton of flies. The person before us left so much trash it was crazy and smelled so bad outside. The property manager was nice and came and put the trash out so we didn't have to do it. He also had the pool heater fixed but not in time for us to enjoy it. We honestly couldn't wait to leave and go to our next destination. I have more complaints but I'm sure you get the picture. Not sure I'll ever use vrbo again after this stay.

Legoland trip 3 Adults and 5 kids.
Location was great about 30 minutes to Legoland. Walmart and restaurants near by. Location great and loved the gated community with a security guard. Easy communication with manager. Nice and clean. Pool was perfect size for 5 kids. Rooms were spacious especially master bedroom. WiFi wasn’t the best and not allTBs Worley’s. Well at least the remote in the living Rooms I didn’t read the part about self service so make sure to bring all toiletries, trash bags, detergent. Decor can use some update maybe more modern look. My bed was fine I’m the master bedroom but the Queen room by the stairs mattress not comfortable. Kids were were perfect. I definitely would Recommend!! !
