Great stay in lovely old Hotel Excellent food

I enjoyed a short stay visiting family in the area. The staff throughout the stay have been, without exception, friendly and really welcoming. The check in and check out process was straightforward. The room was beautifully clean and the bed was so comfortable. The bathroom was spacious and modern. We enjoyed lovely cooked breakfast and an impressive selection of mixed fruits and yoghurt. We also enjoyed fabulous high quality meals in the evening in the Italian themed restaurant. I would love to go back again some time.

2nd visit to The Angel for a local event. Spacious clean, comfortable room. Great, friendly staff. Nice breakfast. Easy parking. Will hopefully return.

Older style hotel with a modern upgrade
Publié le 13 juin 2024 sur HotelsHotel is older style, with large room. I was particularly impressed with the modernisation of the ensuite and very modern techno shower. Good size enclosed walk in shower and decent water temperature.
I dined as a party of 8 in the bar area, food was very good and decent choice on the menu. Staff very helpful and made lockable arrangements for my cycle overnight.
I took advantage of the 6.30am breakfast start which was excellent and good choice on the menu.
No real downside experienced.
