We stayed in tent 63. Looking over the water. Fireplace, rain shower and two man tub!!! Bring lots of drinks and snacks for the fridge as there is not much around there. Great place to write a book, reconnect with your partner or escape life.

We hope you took a moment to walk along the Boardwalk which has some of the best views on the property! We have a convenience items shop set up in the lobby where you can find snacks and cold drinks for your enjoyment.

Our cabin was under construction while we were in it, starting at 830am lasting till 530pm, despite complaining about it. This construction is simply putting a new face over aging construction materials and not fixing existing defects. The work looks good art first but once you start looking, everything is hanuman special type work (drywall seams visible, uneven floors, mismatched tiles in the bathrooms) Housekeeping did not arrive until after 5pm. And even then didn't replenish toiletries or coffee/tea supplies. Sheets were not changed, but the bed was remade (lipstick marks confirmed this). Front desk staff were pleasant but ultimately useless to resolve issues. Had we done not research on recent reviews, we would not have booked it. Would not return. But at least they have a free EV charger and a nice oceanfront location.

We were on a special round trip and this was our first stop. It was easy to get to and the check in was very welcoming. The concept of the premium tent suites is very interesting and we splurged a little to test one out. It was exactly what we had hoped for in terms of tranquility and enjoyment. The robes and deck were very utilized. The temperature was good inside. A little warm for me so be careful in hotter months to keep the plastic window covers open. Hardly any bugs to irritate us either so that’s always a plus (and a bug zapper is provided). It is a bit of a walk down the boardwalk to the suites from parking, esp. if the main lot is full (it was for us) so make sure to maybe bring roll bags or pack light. All in all I was very satisfied with the stay. If I had to nitpick anything I’d say the suites could probably use a bit of maintenance in terms of the paper panelling doors having some spores on them/discolouration, the deck railings needing a fresh coat, the tub is showing some cracks in the finish - probably from the sun etc. I do think the price for the night is quite high (I would expect it to be somewhat pristine) and it took re-checking throughout the month for a reasonable rate to come by. But I was still happy to visit and enjoy the suite for what it was and noticed that everywhere along the coast lately seems to be sharing the high rates. The dock was also pleasant and we got to enjoy a cozy afternoon with the sounds of storms nearby. All in all, well enjoyed

I wish I had have read the reviews more thoroughly.My husband and I visited on August 20 to celebrate our tenth wedding anniversary. The front desk staff was lovely checking us in. The cabin was dilapidated. The entire cabin was on quite a slope, with the floor on an angle as you walked from the door into the back room. As a result the front door has to be slammed to shut it properly. As stated in many past reviews, the room was in rough shape. In one response from the hotel, they claim to have recently finished updating the cabins. I can confirm at least one (cabin two) is definitely not completed. There was paint missing around the inside of the door, a patch of paint on the wall, the windows had mould around them and the bathroom walls were not in good shape. The exterior of the cabin is entirely unfinished with no siding. The tv area is unacceptably tiny and the tv is not in the room where the beds were which was super bizarre to us. The internet in the room was terrible and was constantly in and out. The cleanliness left a lot to be desired; there was even food in the fridge from previous guests. The icing on the cake was when there were three gentlemen actively doing construction on the deck of our cabin. We were laying in bed watching tv (on the iPad my husband thankfully brought) and suddenly could hear the whine of a drill. He looked outside and sure enough, they were adding fascia to the deck. While we were in the cabin.

We were excited for our 2-night stay at Rockwater Secret Cove Resort, but our experience was extremely disappointing. The room was in shocking condition—dirty walls, chewed-up baseboards, old banged up furniture, and an extremely uncomfortable couch that looked like it belonged in a dorm room. The bathroom was disgusting with crumbling, dirty grout, lifting tiles, a cracked ceiling, and filthy trim. One bedroom had parts of wall trim and baseboards missing and the walls were extremely dirty. I expresssed my concerns with the front desk staff but was told there was nothing they could do as everything was fully booked, they did eventually say they could move us to a new room for our second night but by then, we all just wanted to leave and find somewhere else. The pool was green and you couldn’t see the bottom, and although staff assured us it was safe, I wouldn’t risk swimming in it. The final straw was when I saw a silverfish in the shower. We moved all of our bags up off the floor and hoped that nothing had gotten into our suitcases. I requested a refund for the second night at the front desk, explaining that the room was unfit to stay in. The desk clerk said he would consult the manager, but the manager refused to provide a refund or any compensation. This stay was extremely disappointing, especially given our high expectations for this getaway.

Such a beautiful property and the room for as perfect. Super clean, comfortable beds. Rooms equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay. I’ll be back to try the tents!
