Adequate and budget friendly hotel
Selected this hotel due to its price and proximity to Halifax, where we were spending the next day to visit. Were greeted by Mohammed at the front desk on arrival and this gentleman was very polite, nice, and accommodating. Unfortunately, there is no elevator on these premises, making it more challenging to carry suitcases up the stairs. Clean comfortable room and beds. Breakfast was adequate for this style of hotel. Recommended.

I have stayed here about 35 nights in the past 2 years with our teacup dogs without problem .. This time I reminded them to take the pet fee the agent at the desk told me it was included .. 10 mins later to call my cell and ask if I had a pet ., that IT ( my dogs ) were no longer allowed at their hotel and since I was only staying 1 night it was fine however We Were NO Longer Welcomed at their hotel .. which is not acceptable and rude to tell a client .. This hotel used to be packed with people and very friendly .. this time it was empty .. very riude .. would give them NO stars if I could ..

Location was good, and breakfast was better than expected as hot food was available. The front desk staff was dismissive, rude and unfriendly. The pull out sofa bed had food crumbs and the mattress was well past its usable life (terrible even for a sofa bed mattress!) We will not be back to this particular hotel.
