Unfortunately for Mark he had to endure some of the most severe and damaging winds the Region has seen this Century. The winds lasted for almost a week and were widespread across the entire State of Victoria causing significant damage in many areas. The tree in question is a Native Black Wattle that has been at the front of the property for over 30 years without any problems at all. The tree does not actually touch the building however the winds in excess of 100kmph were strong enough to force the trunk to lightly tap the fascia causing the disturbing noise. I tried to call Mark on his Oz mobile number to discuss the situation however did not get a call back. It was Mark's intent to get a Maintenance man to come and cut the beautiful tree down because he had a bad nights sleep. Unfortunately it is not as simple as that as there are lots of conditions relating to the removal of Native Trees inside a National Park. I explained it was our intention to retain this feature tree and las many trees as possible. I take it the other comments are a negative reaction based on the tree however we do regular maintenance on the property and believe it is in excellent condition for such an extreme environment. There is more than enough kitchen space to prepare a meal and we regularly update all glassware and crockery especially if it is broken or chipped. We are sorry that you did not find the property pleasurable however we are also disappointed that you had to get personal suggesting that we are poor managers who dither around presenting a poorly presented property. We work extremely hard to maintain the property and please our wonderful customers. This can be seen in the hundreds of Reviews from our past guests.

So glad the animals came out for you Chloe. The kangaroos in particular like lazing around the beautiful surroundings.
