Beautifully styled 1 Bedroom suite in South Burlington

Are you looking for a clean, stylish and comfortable private space to stay in Burlington? You have found the perfect spot. Our beautifully remodeled suite is located in the heart of South Burlington. There is a separate entrance to access our stylish 1 bedroom suite suitable for 2 people. You will immediately feel at home in the space with it’s warm inviting color palette and stylish finishings. We are open to both short term and long term stays. Bring your own devices or borrow the fire stock for Netflix and Prime, unlimited wifi and use of laundry facilities.
A welcoming entrance is open to a lovely dining area and a cozy living room with an electric fireplace and large comfortable couch. The private beach-inspired bathroom includes shower, vanity with plenty of storage with towels provided. The kitchen is cozy and includes toaster oven, induction stovetop, and fridge, and has everything you need for simple meal preparation. The bedroom is tucked away at the opposite end of the suite from the living area and includes plush duvet and sheets and plenty of pillows for a restful sleep. In addition, there is plenty of storage in the bedroom within the closet and chest of drawers.
You are welcome to enjoy the spacious backyard which might include sipping your morning coffee or an afternoon beverage in the large covered entertainment area including towels, fridge, microwave, coffee maker, kitchen supplies and change room. In the summer months enjoy our outdoor salt water heated pool until 11pm. surrounded by lovely gardens.
Our property is convenient to many areas in the Greater Toronto Hamilton Area. We are perfectly located 7 minutes from downtown Burlington (Joseph Brant Hospital), 2 minutes from QEW or HWY 407, 15 minutes to downtown Oakville, or downtown Hamilton (Mac Master University/Hospital). Within walking distance from our house are a few local favorites; there is Jacksons Landing, Saving Thyme, local pubs & eateries, grocery stores & drug stores. There are 3 excellent shopping centers within 5 minute drive as well.
If you are vacationing in the area and looking for a home base between Niagara Falls and Toronto this is the perfect spot. Niagara Falls, one of the Seven Wonders of the World is 40 minutes away via QEW West as is Niagara-on-the-Lake (Shaw Festival) and more wineries than you can imagine. Toronto is just 30 minutes east by Go Train or 45 minutes east by car on the QEW East.
The closest Go Train Station is Appleby station providing access to Toronto within 30 minutes with access to Toronto Island, Ripley's Aquarium, Eaton Center, The ROM, Toronto Science Center & Toronto Zoo.

A perfect stay with an amazing host
My whole experience was outstanding, starting with Cyndi who is an incredible host, with a beautifully decorated and comfortable apartment that had everything I needed and more. I stayed for about 2 weeks as I had work commitments as well as friends/family time, and I felt comfortable and 'at home away from home' from the first day. Cyndi takes great pride in her place, has a beautiful and welcoming back yard/pool, and it's clear she loves to host and create a welcoming comfortable place for her guests. I will be back in the fall and winter for work and will definitely rebook with Cyndi. Highly recommend!

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the High Road, and it was an unforgettable experience! From the moment we arrived Cyndi went above and beyond to ensure our comfort and satisfaction. The luxurious accommodation made our stay truly memorable. The smallest details had been addressed (every possible bath and beauty product was available to enjoy, chocolates on our pillows, and a comfortable environment where we could come home to sit back and relax!). The Vrbo's prime location provided easy access not only to Burlington but also made our exploration of Toronto (including our daughter's visit to the University of Toronto) and drive to Hamilton for an anniversary party amazingly convenient. The exceptional service and luxurious accommodation will have us returning to the High Road again this summer. Thanks, Cyndi!

This is our 4th visit and as always it was exactly what we needed. Large enough for both of us to work comfortably during the day. The Host is great - really appreciated the accommodation for early arrival this time, as well as the fresh croissants and jam waiting for us. Unit is well appointed with some appreciated extras too. Quiet comfort with special touches
This spacious and beautifully appointed basement apartment is perfect as a quiet base when visiting the Burlington area. I was working rather than vacationing, so I appreciated the small office area and kitchenette. The electric BBQ made for a nice grilled chicken as a special treat!

A perfect home away from home
I had an absolutely amazing stay at Cyndi's place. The unit is well stocked and super cosy, and as a host Cyndi goes above and beyond. I was staying here close to the holidays and I arrived to a festively decorated unit - an unexpected and very thoughtful touch. The location is great, internet was speedy (worked here for a week with zero issues), the couch is extremely comfortable, and there was nothing that I needed that wasn't available in the unit. I would recommend this place to stay to anyone! Highly recommend.

Amazing Experience
Cyndi certainly knows how to put the 'S' into Superhost! Cyndi's place is amazing. It was a joy to wake up & enjoy coffee in her beautifully kept gardens, getting back to nature with the squirrels, rabbits & fabulous bird life. Cyndi went above & beyond our expectations, preparing a welcome supper & table set for two for us & complimentary wine. The property is immaculate & the aesthetics of the interior were even nicer in person than the photos online. Location was perfect for us, a walkable distance to local park & lakefront. lots of local malls & choices a short drive away. Highly recommended. THANK YOU CYNDI, you are a gem!

My husband and I Decided not to travel for our honeymoon because of the Covid restrictions so we decided to rent a house with a pool instead and we have no regrets. Location is great, everything is close by. At first we weren’t crazy about Staying in a basement but we said not a big deal because we will mostly be outside however once we entered the basement we were totally amazed! We had actually planned to go out and get some swim before the sun went down but once we sat on the big comfy couch we decided we were going to pass and just relax there and start fresh in the morning. We even ended up passing out on it because of how comfy it was! The basement is so cozy, super clean and pretty much has everything you need including extra things that we didn’t expect like snacks, robes, new house slippers and a really cute dessert with watermelon heart in the middle which set the mood for our honeymoon! It was absolutely delicious by the way! The supply of towels was extraordinary, the tv a great size, The air conditioning was working perfectly and there was an endless supply of fresh clean water to drink as well! I can’t say enough good things about the way the basement was set up for us but even more so Cyndi herself is so kind, the landscape on her property is absolutely beautiful. We really enjoyed the backyard where we were free to bbq and enjoy the pool. She had lots of beautiful flowers and bushes that attracted butterflies and it was absolutely stunning. We took really nice pictures on a cute bench behind her beautiful garden. There was perfect amount of sun and when you had enough of the sun there was a great amount of shade with seating and a full sized table to eat on, super cozy. She had a spacious shed that we got access to with a full sized fridge which was super convenient. She was so generous and told us help ourselves to some drinks she had in there! There were outlets in her backyard which was so handy for charging your phone. She also had an osculating fan out there which we used to keep flies away from us while we were eating. She was even nice enough to set up a beautiful dinner setting for us with plates, glassware and utensils which id say was going way above and beyond as far as hosting goes. Super intimate and beautiful night lights in case you want to sit there after sundown! Overall we really enjoyed our stay, it exceeded our expectations so we highly recommend staying here ! Perfect place to stay
We recently stayed here for 6 weeks during a home reno and Cyndi was nothing short of amazing. Given COVID, my husband and I are both working from home and she helped us set up a separate quiet space in the back room so we could get some space when we were both on calls at the same time. Wifi was great and the bed is very comfortable! Cyndi was extremely responsive and had pretty much everything we could think of to make our stay comfortable. One suggestion for people that are big into tv (like we are), I would recommend getting a connector so you can hook your iPad or laptop up to the tv to watch Netflix or Prime. The tv is a good size but it's not a smart tv so you don't have access to those services. Very comfortable place to stay and, I imagine, even better in the summer with the pool. :)

Perfect location, very quiet neighbourhood, & close enough to downtown. The salt water backyard pool and verdant surroundings were the highlight of our stay. It was our first time using VRBO and our host was helpful and accommodating during our month long stay that included a 2 week isolation due to the coronavirus cross border policy. The house was clean and comfortable and our host had purchased several things including wine in advance of our arrival to help us through the first 2 weeks. A very nice person that takes care in her property.

As soon as we walked in the door, it felt like home! Cyndi thought of absolutely everything. She also left breakfast treats for us the first morning and came with a delicious loaf at mid week. My mother slept in the bed and I slept on the couch. It was most comfortable - had great sleeps for the week we were there. We will definitely be back!
