What my family and i didn't like was the animal hair all over the place, the cleaness of the place needs to improve the bed sheet was dirty, and the floor was sticky. There was no propane in the tank, a fire pit, but no firewood. Overall, our stay was fine. A trip well needed 🙂

Publié le 28 févr. 2024 sur HomeAwayOverall a nice place. A little perturbed by all the pest prevention devices throughout the home (didn’t see any mice though so that’s a good thing). Some long white dog hair found throughout as well which was off putting. Despite this the view was nice and the space was great.

Negatives would be that the BBQ didn't have a full tank of gas so we had to finish off the steaks in the oven, could of used a box of tissues and another roll of paper towels. But overall, I would stay there again due to the close proximity to the conference.

Publié le 2 janv. 2024 sur HomeAwayOverall, we had an enjoyable stay. The deck is large and offers a lovely view over the river. Inside, the space is cozy and beautiful. The kitchen was well-stocked with everything we needed for our cooking needs during our two-night stay, and the beds were comfortable, complete with appropriate bedding.
However, we would rate our experience as 3.5 out of 5 due to some issues. The property’s cleanliness needs attention. The yard was not well-maintained, with accumulated garbage in the driveway. Inside, the basement and most of the carpets weren’t thoroughly vacuumed, and we found that many of the kitchen utensils were not clean. Also, those sleeping in the basement should be prepared for the noise from rodents in the walls at night.
It’s also worth noting that the property uses a cistern and septic system for water, a detail not mentioned in the listing. While this wasn’t a problem for us, future guests should be aware of this to manage water usage effectively. Including this information in the property description would be beneficial for setting the right expectations.
On a positive note, the hosts were excellent in their communication, always willing to help and responsive to our needs.

Lovely girls weekend away!
Publié le 16 oct. 2023 sur HomeAwayI stayed here with some girlfriends and we had a lovely time! The back deck with the water view was a nice touch. The only think we found missing was a couple large baking trays. Besides, that the kitchen was fully stocked with everything that we needed to cook for our 2 night stay.

Girls weekend
Publié le 6 nov. 2022 sur HomeAwayWe enjoyed our stay since the weather was beautiful & nice sitting out back looking over the river. The indoor seating were not the most comfortable & could improve on house cleaning. We were disappointed we didn’t get to check-in before 4 pm, especially that we requested for early check-in. The home wasn’t booked before us, we were hoping cleaning staff could of done it the day before or in the morning. We’ve been renting homes for a long time & never had a problem with early check-in. The beds were comfortable with appropriate bedding, everyone seem to have slept good.
