Lisa and Jeff were very easy to work with and gave us great recommendations of places to visit in the area. There was some street noise but it quieted down in the evening. I would come back again. Thank you for a lovely visit to northern Maine.

Hampden apartment
Publié le 29 oct. 2023 sur HomeAwayThe inside of the apartment was clean and there were plenty of blankets and toiletries. The outside looks like it used to be a Chinese restaurant. Everything was adequate except for the water pressure in the shower. Pressure was very low.

It would have been nice to have air conditioning as it was during heat wave, but we made do with the fans in the bedrooms. The smoke detector battery needing replacing in the middle of the night in our room and the chirping of the detector woke us up. We swapped the battery from empty bedroom as we couldn't find any replacement batteries. The location was convenient for our travels and fine for an evening.

Everything we needed and more
Publié le 7 août 2023 sur HomeAwayWe stayed 2 nights, during a week long road trip through NY, NH, ME, and MA. Having the space to spread out, after cramped hotel rooms elsewhere, and the ability to do laundry was great. Everything was clean, in working order, and provided for a pleasant stay.

The apartment is nicely done. It is above some sort of old gas station and is a little surprising to drive up to. The biggest problem I had is that it advertises AC and it didn't have it. At least it had fans in each bedroom.
