Stayed for a weekend with family. We had multiple rooms. Customer service was good, quick and efficient. Rooms were clean and beds were very comfortable. It’s a 50/50 chance it’s not going to be completely silent at night (music, loud talking). No fault of the property, just how some people are. Still had a good nights sleep. Good price for the value.

Quick overnight stay

Not terrible but it was kind of run down, even though it was surrounded by some very nice hotels. We just needed aplace to sleep for a few hours because we were too tired to drive the rest of the way home. We had just spent the last 2 days in Norfolk and It had gotten late. The office was closed so they made us use outside window- I assume for their safety and it was COLD. As I was returning to my car, a man approached me and asked if I had stayed here before. I said no. He then told me to be careful as this area was known for drugs & drug related crime. He turned out to be Hampton PD detective.

Not your best place

I asked for an extra blanket, did not receive that. we had one wash cloth, two hand towels, two bath towels for two people. I had new house shoes and the bottoms are black from the dirty floor. The hook on the bath door was off & not replaced. The spread on one bed had a tear at the bottom of the spread. The drapes on the window were not hanging to close the drapes, we had to put a chair up against the drapes to close. I go to the Quilt show often in Hampton but, i think i will pick another place to stay. The bed was clean & comfortable. The first night we were the room next door had a get together of some kind & was very loud until after 12:30 at night.

Unsatisfied

I wanted a non smoking room which on the door as i entered said non smoking. The room stunk so bad from smoke i could not stay there. I go to the front desk, the agent said i ordered a smoking room. The sign on the counter says NO SMOKING OF ANY KIND. So he gives me another room. Ok I go into my room all is good. My neighbors stand outside there room and smoke, that is okay but my fan on the heater was on and brought some of the smoke into my room. I think okay they will go to sleep soon but no they start to carry on around 12 for about half an hour outside there room which i know the hotel has no control. Finally they go to bed. I get up in the morning go to use the shampoo bottle which has brown stuff caked on it, nasty. The tub is clean but needs redo from wear. The walls were redone. I ho to use the ironing board it had holes in the cover. Then before i am done putting my makeup on I smell someone smoking weed, pot or marijuana what ever u wish to call it. I go to put my things in my car and my neighbor is standing in his door way smoking a joint. I checked out and yold the desk clerk who was the same man on duty as the night before. I know the saying goes u get what u pay for but really if your sign says one thing and the staff do something totally different what or why do u really care.
