Perfect Hanalei Beach Cottage
Publié le 26 nov. 2024 sur HomeAwayWe were completely enchanted by our stay here. It reminded me of the beach cottages I used to stay in as a child but with all the modern amenities! Plenty of beach gear provided and the perfect snorkeling beach a couple of blocks away. We loved it so much we had to extend our stay. Our host Donna, was readily available to answer all our questions and offered many helpful suggestions. All in all, an A+ adventure!

Beautiful
Publié le 27 oct. 2024 sur HomeAwayWhat a beautiful property. Perfectly equipped for me and my husband’s honeymoon. We even made friends with the neighborhood cat. Loved the whole vibe of the place and how it mirrors that of the north side of the island. Would definitely rent again!
Also, I’m from a dry climate and was worried about warm, humid nights, but the ample air conditioning available in the home was wonderful and provided for very comfortable sleeps.

Wonderful property in a beautiful area of Kauai.

Thanks for mentioning the neighbors cat. The cat doesn’t visit everyone and I rarely see the cat. It is a beautiful area. So different from the resort areas. We love our guests. Please keep Kauai on your mind

Reminiscing on Kauai
Publié le 25 août 2024 sur HomeAwayPhotos looked a little better than the reality of the place. But, it was very comfortable. While the gate was a gate, it didn't lock or open/close automatically. Overall, I was very comfortable.

Thanks for being our guest. Sorry you weren’t entirely happy. We spent hours and hours on the landscaping. We updated the BBQ and provided more seating in the BBQ gazebo. We replaced the sunbathing and relaxation chairs and loungers in the quiet corner. We have done some cosmetic improvements on the exterior. We changed the lock on the gate to make it easier to open and close but It does not open and close automatically.

A dream come true

On the first day, there was an annoying noise, and we sent Donna a message. She took care of it immediately and even came by. We were able to solve the problem quickly. The house has everything you need and much more, including a lot of items for the beach. Donna's tips were also very helpful. You can see that a lot of love has gone into this house, and you really feel the Aloha spirit. We will definitely come back! Mahalo, Donna!"

A wonderful stay!
Publié le 18 juill. 2024 sur HomeAwayWe loved everything about Barefoot Hideaways! The home came equipped with everything we’d need for a 10 day stay on the island. All the beach equipment and the wagon made our daily beach adventures easy to pull off. The proximity to Tunnels and other access points was ideal.
The kitchen is well equipped with all we needed and the bedrooms and bathrooms perfectly comfortable.
We recommend the house to anyone looking for a perfect North Shore getaway. We truly hope to be back soon. Aloha!

Barefoot Hideaway is the perfect getaway

It is maybe a five minute walk to a beautiful beach that we loved snorkeling at. You will not be disappointed. We will definitely be back a third time. Thanks, Donna!
