Publié le 18 juin 2024 sur HomeAwayThe place is perfect, we stayed here for a mini honeymoon and absolutely loved the place. Stunning and beautiful. Only issue we had is that to get the hot tub hot enough you have to turn on the jets and past a certain hour the neighbor will come over and kindly ask you to turn it off. If you could heat it without the jet sounds ?

Not quite as expected

Although surrounded by dense jungle, the neighbors are actually extremely close and can be easily heard. A dog unexpectedly spent the day at the cottage, blocking the front door. The pool and spa did not look appealing at all. Overall, the cottage is quite rustic but has all the amenities you would likely need. The fridge is small and missing shelves but functioning. The view from the deck is surreal and a pleasant place to sit and sip cocktails. The nearby beaches were great as was the close proximity to fabulous hikes. We appreciated Jeffrey's detailed recommendations.

Dreamy Wainiha Hideaway
Publié le 18 févr. 2024 sur HomeAwayJeffrey's Hale Wainiha was the perfect home base for us to explore the North Coast and is a cozy, comfortable hideaway tucked back in the hills of the Wainiha Valley. The house is modernly appointed and has everything you need - a stocked kitchen, gas bbq, pool, hot tub, outdoor tables and loungers, plus gear to enjoy the beach. All you need is a car and you're set. We bought fresh fish in Hanalei at the Dolphin and fresh veggies and fruit from the farmers market and cooked most meals at the house. Jeffrey also provides an extensive list of dining and adventure options that you'll want to research before you leave so you can take advantage of them all. The views from the house and decks are astonishingly beautiful. You'll feel like you're a million miles away from everything, but it's only a quick trip over the quaint single-lane bridges into Hanalei for shops, restaurants, and a fabulous farmers' market. The house also puts you in easy driving of some of the most beautiful beaches on the island, not to mention Ha'ena Park and the not-to-be-missed hike to the beach and waterfall. Thank you, Jeffrey, for sharing your incredible Hale Wainiha with us - we had a delightful time and hope to come staty again in the future.

Paradise
Publié le 19 janv. 2024 sur HomeAwayEasily the best property we've ever stayed at. Not only is the exterior breathtaking, the interior is super spacious & modernly updated. Only advice I'd give is to try & arrive before the sun goes down, as the drive in can be tough in the dark. Highly recommend for a couple's getaway.

Fabulous!
Publié le 4 nov. 2023 sur HomeAwayEverything about this place is amazing. There are no adequate words to describe the view. Just incredible. No lights at night, we could see the stars. Very private, comfortable, the bathroom looked new, love the shower! New appliances in the kitchen. Small, perfect for two. The decks were excellent love eating out there in the scenery. Birds everywhere. One cool detail.. most of the watercolors and prints in the house seem to be done by the owner. They are beautiful. So convenient to the northern beaches!

A jungle paradise
Publié le 16 août 2023 sur HomeAwayWe booked Hale Wainiha to celebrate our 10th anniversary and were not disappointed in our choice. The property is exactly as listed and is a wonderful place to hang out after spending our days exploring Kaua’i. The lush jungle views offered by Wainiha Valley from the lanai during the day are exceptional and star gazing from the hot tub and pool at night is absolutely stunning. We enjoyed watching the nene come and go from the stream that runs through the valley. Jeffrey is a talented artist and his watercolor paintings are a joy to see hanging on the walls.

Secluded slice of paradise

Off the beaten path, it was the perfect place to disconnect and relax, while still being within an easy drive of town, beaches, and other attractions. We thoroughly enjoyed our time, and the only drawback was that it would have been nice to have more towels for the week. But overall, an amazing experience!
