We chose this property because customers rated it highly. It was nice as was the staff. However, you must first climb 3 flights of stairs to reach the elevator, then descend one flight to reach your floor. As we were constantly coming and going, that adds up.. not for elderly or inform.

We stayed for two nights early in January with our 4 year old, and really enjoyed our stay at the Royal Palace Hotel. The staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful, especially when our son was feeling poorly one day. The rooms are great and have everything you need for a city break, and the food in the restaurant is excellent. We’d definitely recommend and would stay again if we’re in Hanoi

Stayed here a few times whilst touring Vietnam. Loved this hotel. It’s in a great location in the old quarter. The rooms were clean, comfortable and spacious. The buffet breakfast is wonderful with a great choice and variety of foods. One of the highlights of this hotel is the warm friendly and helpful staff at the front desks and restaurant. I was feeling a little under the weather on my last stay. I asked at reception where the nearest pharmacy was and the young lady immediately offered to take me there and helped me get the correct medicine. At breakfast the next morning the waitress had heard I was unwell and asked if she could get any particular food for me. She then made me a superb cup of ginger tea ! Great service above and beyond expectations .The staff really helped me enjoy a fabulous time in Hanoi . Thank you so much I hope to be back one day !

Excellent, first time visit to Hanoi. This was facilitated in part by the support of Hotel Staff, namely, Suly at the front desk and Jenny, the Hotel's tour agent. Prior to the trip, communications with Jenny helped me and my family plan options that were appropriate for two elderly tourists. On arrival, Suly took the initiative to upgrade our room in order to maximize our experience of Hanoi with views of the city. Each day, Hotel staff members checked in to make sure we were taken care of. This attention to detail ensured a most relaxing time in Hanoi. I will return once more.

From the moment I arrived, the fabulous front desk staff made me feel like family! And the experience just kept getting better throughout the 2 weeks we stayed there during holiday time. Our room was roomy and well laid out, with large windows (excellent soundproofing, by the way), a comfortable bed, a nice sitting area, and good storage and hanging space. The breakfast was great, with eggs prepared to your order by the friendly and efficient restaurant staff, with beautifully plated dishes that tasted as good as they looked. And here let me stop and say how friendly, helpful, and efficient every member of the staff was. Front desk people, Jenny at Guest Relations, the restaurant cooks and servers, the cleaning staff... everyone genuinely wants you to enjoy your stay. Everything is easy to walk to from here, and each time I came back, it felt like coming home. Excellent value for money, too. Why stay anywhere else???

The personnel of front desk are very professional with guidelines about all questions that we have asked. Had a great stay at Royal Palace. Staff couldnt do enough and everything was perfectly organised. We booked the indulgence package and went to Halong Bay on a cruise, and cannot rate this experience highly enough. Everything about the organisation of this package from booking to arrival was perfect and easy. The location of the hotel was also great for a first time visit to Hanoi being close the old town, lake and french quarter. The restaurant at the hotel was also wonderful. Highly recommend it.

We stayed at this hotel on and off over a 10 day period when we were not away on excursions. The hotel is in a fantastic location in the Old Quarter. The receptionist staff are very attentive and efficient. They Organise trips and when there was an issue with our room they solved it immediately. The rooms are modern and spotlessly clean. A great breakfast is included. A good range of choices from a buffet is available plus they will cook eggs etc to order. The breakfast staff were great. We particularly enjoyed talking with the breakfast manager Jimmi and one of the waitresses Cong. But they were all lovely. There is also an excellent restaurant on the 2th floor. We would definitely stay here again if we are lucky enough to return to Hanoi.

My trip was a last-minute arrangement and I had no time to do research on the city or the hotels. In the end, I felt that I choose the perfect hotel and I had a great time in the country. The staff at the Royal palace were the best, and I felt like I never left home. The place is perfectly located in the old part of Hanoi and they go the extra mile to be sure you have everything you need. I'm grateful for their attention and I'll come back again. What a nice experience it was.
