Good room, bad experience
Publié le 23 sept. 2024 sur HomeAwayThe room was beautiful. We loved the hot tub in the room and the fireplace. We were not informed that the entire floor was under construction. There were loud banging noises, fragments on the carpet, and workers all over the hallway. We were awoken by a worker at 6 am who was working on the construction. They tried to get into our room and disturbed our stay. Besides this, the stay was beautiful and well worth it.

Property manager did well and found us another location for the same money. Thanks to him

Galena Longhollow studio
Publié le 1 juill. 2024 sur HomeAwayThe studio apartment was nice, but the lighting is poor. The air conditioner needs to be replaced. It is too noisy and made sleep difficult. The screen door doesn’t latch on the deck. We had to keep the main sliding door open, since the air conditioner was too noisy, so that we could get a breath of fresh air, and as a result our apartment was not secure at night. This is something that has come up in reviews before.
More hand towels and washcloths are needed in the bathroom.
We like hard mattresses and this seemed to be a pillow top, so it took a toll on our backs.
My allergies flared up in this apartment. Is it mildew; were pets allowed in? Could just be that I am sensitive to such things. My husband was fine.
The complex is very nice. We enjoyed the game room. The pool and hot tub are nice. This apartment is an affordable and adequate stay in Galena.

Nice room, but…
Publié le 7 sept. 2023 sur HomeAwayWe have stayed here a few times, always in the same room. We love the amenities and location. The only issue is the wall air conditioner. It drips constantly, 24/7. We have to put a towel on it to silence it. We have mentioned this to the front desk when they ask how everything is. We will return but hopefully in a different room.
