UPDATES
CLEANING
We adhere to CDC guide lines for cleaning. Bleach and water to sterilize the toilet handle, faucets, stove knobs, door handles, light switches, backs of chairs.
BEACHES
All beaches that are open are New Buffalo, Warren, Weko and Silver, Harbert and Cherry . Cherry beach there is no more beach pass, $15 parking fee thank you Chikaming twnshp. First come first serve. You can enjoy the majestic sunsets.


Just a short 5 block walk to Harbert Beach. Located between Warren Dunes is a short drive 4 mi. Four Winds Casino is 10 mi. drive. Walk to the Swedish bakery/Luisa’s Cafe. Enjoy the wineries and breweries, walk the Galien River County Park, Cherry beach. Pick up your grilling needs at Falatics Meat Market [ online orders only https://www.falatics.com/ ] visit the many farmers markets all minutes away. Antique shops on Red Arrow. Cool off in the pool (not heated) or enjoy a fire in the evening (wood provided).

Great Getaway
We found what we were looking for..something in SW Michigan where we could enjoy a quiet place to read…we liked the train nearby….nearby scenic areas to walk (Warren Woods and Harbert Preserve areas Fernwood in Niles) and many places to eat, get coffee, and ice cream. Nearby access to Lake Michigan Beach and well maintained pool in back yard for water types. Hope to return !

Quaint cottage in safe neighborhood
My husband and I stayed with our teens and their two friends. We really enjoyed the stay and we met Nick while there and he was very kind and helpful. We ran out of clean towels (4 teen girls) and he brought us more. He gave ideas for things to do in the area with teens and recommended places to eat. We liked the area and how close it was to Cherry Beach, Warren Dunes, and New Buffalo beach. There are no strong air fresheners in the home. My daughters' and I are sensitive to strong fragrances and we can't stand staying anywhere with strong scents. We would definitely stay here again!

Was a very warm and cozy feeling when you walk in. The back porch was very nice to just hang outside in and a very clean pool. I would stay there again. Had all the comforts of home Met the renter he was very nice also !

Great place! Even though the address is on a main road, the yard is very private..and spacious! The pool is wonderful! The house was very nice -everything you need! We fit 5 adults no problem. Owner is responsive, friendly and helpful. Will be back!

Great Location..Wonderful clean home, perfect get a way, with pool and fire pit. Nic was an amazing host, answered all of our questions, and gave us amazing recommendations for food and activities. Fantastic getaway
This cabin was the perfect end-of-summer beach getaway for my family of 5, and Nic was a wonderful host. The beach was a bit of a hike for the littlest, but we had a wonderful time down on Cherry and Harbert beaches and the kids were in the pool (which was very well maintianed) every day of our stay. The cabin is beautiful and had all the little amenities that make a stay seamless - from kitchen utensils to board games. We would absolutely stay again.

Pretty with a rustic interior in a very functional, clean home. Easy walking distance to the beach. Kitchen is very user friendly with extra dining space on the porch. We had extended family over for a meal and it worked well. The cool temperature pool water was a nice treat after the hot beach. Definitely would recommend it and hope to be able to return.

Love Harbert Living
This is the 3rd Summer in a row that we have spent time at Harbert Living. Our kids love the beaches, Captain Mike's fun park, the ice-cream shops, and the on-site swimming pool. The location is great; close to all of it. My wife and I also love the on-site pool and the back deck. There are some pretty good restaurants in the area, but we also enjoy having friends over to cook out on the deck with the gas grill, then have a fire in the fire pit, while the kids swim in the pool or play in the yard. The house is cozy and perfect for our family of 4. Nic (property manager) is very friendly and makes sure everything is in order for our stay. We plan to come back next summer.

Quick 3 day beach trip
We were not only excited about finally getting warm beach weather but finding a hpuse to accommodate us and it came with a pool! Everything was comfortable. We beached all day, sawm a little after then watched a few movies snuggling with the kids. Super excited i cooked each meal so that saved us $ as well as a fight with the kids over where we can eat and cant because they are still in the picky phase, 7 and 8. We brought our bikes and took shoet rides and the beach was just a 5 min walk away. I'd suggest bringing wagon for beach stuff otherwise we just hung the stuff on the handle bars as we walked 1 bike. Nick was awesome to deal with, very friendly and knowledgeable. Definitely will stay again

Perfect Location!
This cozy beach cottage was within walking distance to a beach, a bakery and shops. We chose the location because it had 4 twin beds for our teenagers. We would choose it again because of the great host who was responsive to everything we needed during our stay. Kitchen was well supplied for cooking meals. Beds were great and it was very clean. And wonderful outdoor seating and grill. Thanks, Nic, for making our stay so relaxing.

Great location and cabin feel
This house provided a good experience overall. The place feels cozy and is covered in wood everywhere for a cabin feel. The bathroom had a skylight which made it really bright in there. Most kitchen tools you’d need for a short stay are provided. Wood was even provided for the fire pit! The pool was nice to have (a little chilly but that’s because of the weather). Owner came daily to clean the pool— my only wish is that it was outlined in the listing that he’d be doing so; it caught me off guard. Also, I would recommend bringing your own pillow.

Great family vacation
There are so many great things to say about this place. First of all, Nick, the owner, is very good at communicating. He checked in with me before arrival, after arrival, and multiple times during our stay. We didn't have any issues during our stay, but it felt good to know if we did that Nick would've been there in a moments notice to help. The pool is a definite plus. We swam in it multiple times during our stay. It is a little chilly, but it was never an issue. We even swam in it around 7 and 8 at night. This was a major reason we picked this place. It is not easy to find a place with your own pool and that was what my kids wanted. The beach down the road called Cherry Beach was also very nice. It had calm waters, soft sand, and not a lot of people. We also went to the Warren Dunes one day which was only 10 minutes away and that was fun too. There were more waves at that beach, concessions, and a chance to climb the dunes. Both days we came home from the beach and then swam in the pool. Then at night we enjoyed the fire pit and made smores and listened to music. The house was very clean upon arrival and the temperature even on the hot days was very comfortable. The look of the cottage is very cute. It feels like you're staying in a log cabin. I stayed with my husband and two daughters (ages 3 and 7). My mother in law also stayed some of the days and there was more than enough room as long as one person doesn't take forever in the bathroom.

Great family getaway!
This was our 2nd year staying at this location. We really like the house, particularly the back deck and pool. Nic is very nice and quick to respond. The house is close to Warren Dunes, Captain Mike's Fun Park, and lots of nice smaller beaches. Also not too far from Silver Beach. Some good places to eat nearby. We plan on going back next summer.
