Almost Perfect
Publié le 25 août 2024 sur HomeAwayThis home has everything we needed as a family of 3 and our pet. The location was great for our activities. However the house had not been cleaned properly prior to our arrival. There was noticeable dirt/hair on the floors. The stovetop was filthy, and the 1st floor master bath left little to be desired. I spoke with the owner who wanted to resend the cleaning crew back out, but since we’d already settled in, we refused. Honestly the house needs some TLC from the owner. There are things that need some attention like the front door knob that’s missing a screw and the hand towel holder in the MB that’s about to fall out of the wall. I hope the owner will pay a visit and take a good look at the home. Unfortunately it’s long overdue for a deep clean and some maintenance.

Quiet Retreat
Publié le 23 juill. 2024 sur HomeAwayOur family came down for a baseball tournament, therefore it was a "business trip"; however we were able to enjoy everything the island had to offer from this location. The house itself was amazing and was situated in a quiet neighborhood. We were less than 5 minutes from the Harker's Island Ferries to enjoy some fishing and island hopping in our downtime. Fish Hook Restaurant was located right at the top of the street for lunch or dinner and the local Dollar General had all of the grocery essentials needed. The whole family enjoyed the stay, and we cannot wait to come back again!

Great Place To Vacation
