Property and staff nice. I was overcharged because I ended up staying there 3 days and for that I was charged over $1,500.

I enjoyed almost everything about our stay, except there weren't any vending machines. My son got hungry late at night and we were told there weren't any vending machines that held food.

2024 stay for Appalachian Challenge Academy 🎓

Pool area was entirely to hot, made it hard to breathe. As I am handicapped a walk in ramp would have been easier for me. My shower in my assessable room was nice, but a little slippery. I wore water shoes. One of my daughters in the other room slipped and fell due to the slippery tub. We asked for 4 extra towels and the worker told my daughter we could only have 2 as to many towels had been stolen. It would have been nice to have access to a dryer to dry our wet towels and bathing suits. Staff was friendly. A nice play area would have been awesome for my grand daughter. My t.v. was staticky in my assessable room, but fine in the other room. All in all it was a nice visit. You should have assessable suits for large families like mine. Then I wouldn't have had to rent 2 rooms.

Our room just smelled of mildew and cigarettes. The room just didn’t feel clean. The lady that worked at the front desk was super sweet and accommodating. We only stayed one night so we were able to tough it out.
