Harper’s Ferry Getaway

Birthday Gift
Publié le 8 nov. 2024 sur HomeAwayMy wife gave me this trip as a birthday gift (birthday November 7) for my 80th birthday. We walked from the cottage to the town each day which truly proves I am still in shape (lol). We enjoyed our walks, the cleanliness and comfort of the cottage, and the food.

Quaint, private, quiet, romantic. Had a warm, romantic feeling. It’s just the right amount of space with a great couch and comfortable bed for two. There is a common area with a fire pit, which was delightful. We had deer In our backyard in the evenings and several other wildlife. It would have been perfect if we had access to a grill. Excellent communication with the owners! The town shuts down early in the evening limiting dinner choices. However 15 minutes away there is access to numerous restaurants. The location is amazing to the old town of Harpers Ferry. The accommodations had updated Tv and charging stations. Definitely would love to stay there again!!

Great getaway to WV!

Everything about the room was just right for us.
And it made a huge difference to be able to walk to Harpers Ferry.

Wonderful Cottage
Publié le 14 juill. 2024 sur HomeAwayClean, was perfect for me and my Husband. A little of everything we needed for our stay. I would however, like the tall bush by the entrance door trimmed away a little better. Not much room to step down and turn to open the door and carry luggage. Over all, beautiful location and cottage.
