The room in the Trouvaille House that we stayed in was great, and I would recommend this property to anyone visiting Harper's Ferry. While it's a (very) old house, it has been beautifully remodeled and decorated.
Christie is an amazing host, who greeted us upon our arrival, provided great food + activity recommendations, and responded quickly to any questions we asked. We had a small issue with the lock on the door (the batteries died), and Christie immediately responded to my text message, remotely locked the room so we could go out, and came over within 20 minutes to change the batteries. We really appreciated such prompt assistance and care throughout our short stay.
Some other small notes, none of which were big issues:
-The house is ~10-15min downhill walk to the main "downtown" part of Harper's Ferry, and it's the same trek uphill back to the house.
-Because the house is old + this room is next to the front door, we could hear the other guests entering/leaving/walking around the house/etc, but we didn't find this to be a problem.
