The check-in is contactless. It is pretty efficient but it feels strange to enter an empty large house. There is no elevator (which we were made aware of so no surprise here) and the stairs are very wide so it is very easy to move the luggage. Our room had a view on the river, but this was a bit of a stretch statement. You could see the river but if you were standing in the corner of the room!
The room itself was beautiful and tastefully decorated. The only thing to improve was the bathroom fan, which turns on automatically when you enter the bathroom and is so noisy it wakes up everyone in the room.
Breakfast is provided and is an experience. You share a large dining table with other guests. It was kind of fun and a change. But I wasn’t impressed with the quality of the breakfast which was fairly basic. I chose poached eggs and they were very runny. The portion felt a bit small as well. This is why I gave it a 4/5 rating. It’s still a lovely experience

My son and new wife had their wedding at the Manor on Front. They stayed in the Bennington over night and then off to their honeymoon in the morning. This property was fabulous! The view of the river was a highlight and the staff were excellent. Will certainly consider this place for future events.

Would like to have had some staff meet us on arrival.
Not much variety with breakfast-2nd morning there the music coming from the kitchen was loud and not the type of music you would expect at the Manor. We were rushed out from the dining area because the next group was coming in. More room should be set up and available for the guests.

Luxurious place to spend the night. Transported you back to a more elegant, gracious time. Breakfast was wonderful and served in an ebvironment that made you feel special.
