Perfect Hang-out
Publié le 6 janv. 2025 sur HomeAwayPlenty of space for my young adult son and his friends to reunite and relax. We took advantage of the board games and the video games. I've never been in such a well equipped kitchen. I found everything we needed for preparing our simple meals. It was comfortable, clean and inviting. Check in was easy and the check out instructions were very reasonable. Basically, "take out the trash and strip the beds." (Of course we cleaned up after ourselves but some locations charge a cleaning fee then ask you to clean the place and do their laundry!) We had a great weekend!

A+++ vacation spot

Amazing stay....
Publié le 20 oct. 2024 sur HomeAwayWe recently had the pleasure of staying at Rachel's beautiful VRBO home, The Blue Gill Cottage off Bluegill Lake in Harrison, Michigan, and it was by far one of the best VRBO properties we’ve experienced. From the moment we arrived, it felt like home with all the thoughtful amenities and comforts. The cottage was immaculate, cozy, and perfectly equipped for a relaxing getaway.
One of the highlights was the arcade classic NBA Jam, which brought back so many great memories. Playing it with our nephew was a blast, and it added an extra layer of fun to our stay. We also had a great time fishing together, and he was thrilled to catch both bluegill and catfish right there on the lake. The location made it the perfect spot for both relaxation and making lasting memories with family.
Rachel has truly thought of everything to ensure her guests have a wonderful experience. We can’t wait to come back and enjoy another stay at this amazing cottage!

Cottage getaway

Clean & Comfortable
Publié le 28 août 2024 sur HomeAwayWe attended a wedding nearby and took the opportunity to make a vacation out of it and stayed 5 nights. The location is quiet and close enough to town to pick up odds and ends. The house was clean and very comfortable. We all slept wonderfully on the comfortable beds and appreciated that each room had a fan. It unfortunately rained most of the time we were there but we made the most of it and enjoyed the playing cards, games, and tv with streaming apps. We did have to buy more toilet paper and paper towel as one 4-pack of single rolls and one roll of paper towel are provided. Not a big deal, but something to plan for if you are staying longer than a weekend with multiple people. The host was quick to respond and kindly checked in when we experienced an area wide power outage to offer updates from the power company. All in all, it’s a cozy place to stay rain or shine.

Perfect slice of Heaven
Publié le 17 août 2024 sur HomeAwayThis location is perfect! We had little kids and adults, and everyone found some thing to do. The children were ecstatic, catching fish off the end of the dock, and I couldn’t keep the other ones out of the paddle boat or off the slide. The accommodations were outstanding. They have a washer and dryer on site, and every room was comfortable and clean. There was an issue the first night with the television not working properly, and the host was willing to replace it immediately. The host was available for any questions or concerns we had, and took care of problems by going above and beyond what was needed, I don’t want to tell too many people about this place because I want it for myself, but it would be unfair to the host not to share what a absolute gem this property is. It’s clean it has a perfect location. Everybody slept comfortably and I highly recommend this property.
