Quick Escape into Nature
Publié le 28 oct. 2024 sur HomeAwayThe cabin and surrounding area were just what we needed to escape reality and reconnect with nature for a bit. The dull roar of the rapids could be heard in the background, helping add to the feeling of seclusion. Add the crackling of the wood stove which kept us toasty warm, we quickly relaxed and thoroughly enjoyed our time in the cabin as well as in the lovely town of Harrisville. Would love to go back and spend more time!

Fantastic cabin
Publié le 12 sept. 2024 sur HomeAwayMy son and I are traveling around for a couple of weeks and we ran across this cabin with 210 five star rating with beautiful views of the river. After renting it I visited with Doug the owner and found him be very knowledgable of the area and very helpful with our needs. I wouldn't hesitate renting this cabin again at all, hopefully we get another chance to visit again. Thanks Doug

Amazing!

Despite the less than ideal weather conditions, the cabin provided everything we could possibly need. The blackstone on the porch was perfect for cooking, and there was an impressive selection of board games to choose from. The soothing sound of the river added to the overall relaxing ambiance.

Perfect Reset!

A vacation to remember.
Publié le 17 août 2024 sur HomeAwayThe cabin & river are magical. The host has made it very comfortable. This was a detination stay for my 70th. B-day. The goal was to relax and enjoy. We did just that. We spent 3 days at the cabin and never left. Long.trip from Indiana but we are planning to return. What a wonderfull time.

Wonderful woodland retreat!!
