Perfect house for a stay in Harrogate

Clean and Roomy Near Cumberland Gap

We Had A Pleasant Trip
Posted May 16, 2024 on HomeAwayWe had a pleasant stay at the Blissful Bungalow. The hosts were kind and communicated clearly. The property was decently clean and comfortable. There were plenty of extra pillows, blankets, and towels for our needs. Our biggest complaint was the driveway. It isn’t paved and getting cars up and down was tricky. The houses surrounding the property also appeared to be abandoned, which was a little sketchy. Otherwise, we had a good time and would consider staying here again if we ever returned to the area.

Great Harrogate Home

Quick overnight stay

Southern Family Reunion
Posted Jul. 16, 2023 on HomeAwayThe driveway is a little steep. The house was very nice inside though, and conveniently close to the area we were visiting. Some of the lightbulbs were out and no replacement bulbs available. The kitchen countertops had a sticky film on them. We had to clean them before using. It would have been nice to have a working icemaker. Overall, it was comfortable and roomy.

However, we love getting to hear about guests needs/wants after staying at our properties, as it gives us a chance to improve for future guests. We made sure to take care of lightbulb issue upon seeing your review. We also did some investigating regarding the kitchen countertops and learned that our cleaning product was leaving a film. We’ve switched brands, so we hope that helps! We’ve also noted your comments regarding the driveway and ice-maker — they’re on the list of things to address! The house was very comfortable and clean, and the drive here and surrounding area were beautiful. It was very bumpy going into the driveway though haha but other than that it wasn't too hard to find.

Great LMU Location
Posted May 30, 2023 on HomeAwayThis house was perfect for us while moving our son back into his room at LMU. We could go back and forth to campus easily and hop over to Middlesboro for Walmart. Everything was clean and all of the appliances were in great shape. House had everything we needed. Driveway needs some TLC but was completely manageable. The hosts were attentive and responsive. We’d definitely stay again.
