Very recommendable hotel
Publié le 8 nov. 2016 sur HotelsGreat, small and cosy hotel with lot of charm. A bar/restaurant at the ground floor with jazz band playing in the night. Got a great room with lot of space and very clean. Personnel very nice and helpful.

If given Room 15/Garden Room… Beware!

The price for the booking was not cheap and when checked in the guy made a passing comment that there may be slight noise in the morning as it’s below the Kitchen. We made our booking in February so not a last minute booking and was allocated this room.
Unfortunately the noises started from the very start and resembled a herd of elephants running from one side of the room to the other, this continued until 11pm when we went upstairs and asked how long this would continue? The lady asked the man to stop dropping the mop bucket on the floor… It stopped for a small period and then started again until 10 past one in the morning. Unfortunately for us it did start again at 6am, so no we did not get any sleep.
Before we checked out we overheard the staff having a conversation about us asking when it would stop and one said “what did they expect, it’s a bleep operating kitchen”.
When checking out, we made the guy aware of our disappointment and he was apologetic. He mentioned this room now comes with a warning of how loud this room is, not sure why we didn’t get this?
We did receive a discounted rate which was appreciated but didn’t make up for the spoiled trip.

Nice short stay in Harrogate

Room and bathroom are big, comfy bed. Excellent breakfast selection, from full Yorkshire, American pabcakes, cereals, etc.
Very friendly service.

It's an ideal location with plenty of restaurants and bars around. Free parking is definitely a huge bonus. The breakfast is cooked fresh to order with plenty of options. Excellent shower
the downside was the bed we had was far too soft felt like it was sagging and it was rather low.
