Excellent stopover
Publié le 29 sept. 2024 sur HotelsLast year we stayed at the Inn to break our journey from Hampshire to Northumberland, and it worked so well we’ve repeated the exercise. It’s a few miles off the A1(M), it worth the short detour. Our rooms have been in to main building, and both have been recently fitted out to a good standard. Breakfast. Is held in a room with good garden views and is excellent. We ate in the restaurant and bar on different evenings. The menu is identical for both segments. The menu is interesting and the food itself is really good. When next we venture to the North we would plan to return to the Inn.

We were in one of the lodge rooms , which was very nice . Heating was good and very comfortable bed and a small place outside with table and chairs .
Luckily our room was at the back as the main road is quite busy , but we heard nothing
Would gladly stay here again

Garden room was awesome. Sadly found the food on the Sunday Evening
very disappointing
The staff were excellent, the ambience of the bar area was nice. Nice touch with a tray of treats and a card on our anniversary

Perfect for a short break in North Yorkshire. This was our second visit and once again did not disappoint. Lovely comfortable room, delicious tasting food, very welcoming staff and great location.
