Please forgive what appears to be a misunderstanding or language barrier.
At check-in and in each suite the following statement is provided: "The Mantissa respects our guests’ privacy. Our operation is similar to what one will experience with a vacation rental. Therefore, we do not enter your room on a daily basis. We are happy to provide clean towels, additional amenities, and refresh service. Please alert our front desk attendant, in advance, of any housekeeping needs you may require.

Additionally, we do not have a kitchen or restaurant that serves breakfast. We do, however, offer a breakfast-to-go bag for our guests and there is a breakfast restaurant 20 steps from our main entrance.
We apologize for any misunderstanding and hope you would consider returning for another visit.

First “Boutique” Hotel Experience

Friendly staff, very clean room and very convenient to local shops in Historic Downtown Hartsville. This was a family trip for an “unofficial” family reunion and the hotel room almost felt like “home away from home” the two nights we stayed.

A great deal and large room. The roof top bar was a relaxing experience. I would recommend the hotel.

Don’t count on breakfast
