Very homey and comfortable no issues

We stayed here for the Barry Roubaix and it worked out great! Stachia did a great job helping us and is a great host. I would stay here again.

Well maintained, spacious and many lovely watercraft drift by. Also, wonderfully quiet. No high volume traffic, dogs barking, kids screaming, doors banging or such. Only 8 minutes from the well-developed town of Hastings with most anything one would want available.

We had a wonderful weekend at this property. It was perfect for our needs. We especially enjoyed eating breakfast on the sun porch, and taking the kayaks out on the lake. It seems that there is a "no wake" rule before 1pm, so our morning paddle was perfect. We got back before the big boats all came out. Hastings is a fun little town with great restaurants and a cute farmer's market on Saturdays. We were a little confused about getting in, but everything was fine once we contacted the owner who told us to walk around the side, out on the wood deck, to the side door, to get in. We would definitely stay here again!

Overall we really enjoyed our stay! We chose this property bc it was pet friendly and relatively close to Vermont vile where we were attending a wedding, and decided to make a weekend getaway out of it. I’ll share our experiences bc I find them so helpful when others share detailed reviews when I look at rentals. This rental is 1 unit of a 4-plex within a house. Quiet area. It was a exactly as pictured. 2 units are short term rentals and the others ( I believe ) are resident renters. We briefly saw other renters and were able to hear voices snd tv/music a bit through both the wall and the floor. We were not told there was designated parking spot and parking in the one spot available in the 4 spaces out front. Spaces were not marked , One of the downstairs units informed us we were in “her spot “ and should have been told to park the n left in our check in info ( we were not). Minor issue/easy to move over a spot but would have been prevented with notice in our check in. Unit was very small, completely adequate for two adults , and two little kids. Only one bed and a small futon, so more than 3 adults would not be comfortable in this space. The listed pack n play was not available. It was perfectly clean, with the exception of questionable dishes in the sink drying upon check in and questionable if the throw blankets and numerous couch pillows were cleaned between guests(we just set these items aside). Only a fitted sheet / no linens were provided for the futon. Double bed was very comfortable/ linens were soft… i slept well. Shower was nice and hot and ran for all 4 of our showers without temperature changes. The view out the living area and sun porch is spectacular and the fire pit was a nice feature. Fishing from the bank , we caught some small blue gills and sunfish. Kids enjoyed campfire snd fishing. Wifi was not available the first 12 hours, and didn’t initially hear back from host when we reacted out using the app … luckily we found the MiFi box and password was listed on it, so we were able to watch tv . WiFi popped on the second day. Overall, we had a great time and would recommend this rental. Thank you to our host for a lovely stay.
