Lovely place to stay. My room was nice, everything was clean and spotless, and very welcoming. I'll definitely be back when staying in Hastings again :)

The Apollo is an old quaint building with a few charming quirks. It is very convenient to the train station, the pier/beach and the funky downtown area. We walked everywhere and felt safe but there was an abundance of litter on the sidewalks from both people and seagulls that tear open and scatter garbage which does not seem to get cleaned up. The proprietor was very nice and the building was secure. While the bed was comfortable, bed linens need to be upgraded.

Very good for the price
Publié le 2 juin 2024 sur HotelsNice and clean room. The toilet and shower were outside the room but close enough, a few steps away. The bed was comfy, there was a little TV in the wall, the WIFI unfortunately didn't really reach us on the top floor, but overall nice start and warm welcome.

The room was tidy, the host was available and helpful, and the location was convenient to central Hastings... for better and worse. Free parking was available around the block in a pretty dingy carpark, but my car did fine. The ensuite shower was almost comically small, but it got the job done.

Thank you for your review. Our check in times are from 10:30 - 20:00hrs. We are glad you appreciated the extra early check in of 8:45am that you had. As stated at time of booking and in your confirmation email free parking is from 4pm till 11am the next day, outside those hours it is chargeable. We try to please all of our guests by having medium/firm, memory foam mattresses, we understand that everybody has different preferences, so we aim meet in the middle with this option.
