Disappointed in your review. This is the 2nd time you have stayed with us and it seems like you had a great stay the 1st time. There was no odor in that bathroom and it was clearly used. The shower curtains have hard water spots on them that do not come off. They are not dirty. Our house is very clean. We have never had anyone complain or pick apart the tiniest things. I said before you checked in, as I do with all of my guests, call me if there's any issues and I will address them. I was unaware that so much silverware was missing. We immediately addressed the concerns. Its just too bad they weren't brought to our attention until the end of your stay. As far as being charged for 2 extra people (our listing clearly states there is a $35 per person fee over 6 people, per day) it is very common to charge for extra people over a certain number. You were actually charged for only 1 day and not all 4 days days so it saved you an additional $210. Your total with VRBO fees came down to $48 per person per night. Our home has much more to offer than a hotel. Full kitchen, washer & dryer, 6 beds, ping pong table, a beautiful place and cleaner than any hotel or most homes I'm sure! When you started sending me screenshots about state regulations, I immediately addressed these concerns with the owner. Our entire house is electric and there is no gas, and guests don't really use the garage, but we immediately added a carbon monoxide detector. Extra smoke alarms were also added to the basement. We strive to please all our guests and I know you were aware of that. I didn't issue you a refund on the 2 extra people because it was already discounted by $210. I feel like that's the reason for your review rating. I'm sorry you were not happy.
